It’s been stuck in my head, but if you’re a lead and demand/expect overtime, like more than an hour extra a day, then you have failed. Full stop. You failed. You did not do your job protecting your team from a bloated or unrealistic milestone. It’s literally your job to do this.

Did a 40km bike today. I’ve done the route before and this time was a little easier. It’s always nice to feel progress. 🚴‍♀️

Bianca 🌺 @biankadonk.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Fields of Mistria has its claws in me the moment the in-game season changed and so did everyone’s clothes. Also, my body was not ready for beach versions of the romancible characters 😳

Look at this thing! This lives in my home. I love her so much 💕 #caturday

Yesterday, I went for 40 kilometre bike. It was the perfect weather too. Slight overcast. It feels great to be outside.

Bianca 🌺 @biankadonk.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

I had no plan to go swimming today but the expected rain didn’t show up. Managed 2500 meters. It was so quiet and chill.

Another fantastic swim. I made it to 2000 meters! I can’t describe how amazing it feels to be back in the water. 🏊🏻‍♀️

First time back in the pool after several years. Man, I felt so out of shape but managed 1700 meters before my body said no more. Until next time 🏊🏻‍♀️

I went to a Renaissance Faire and found this cat themed metal dice set, which the partner bought for me. Photobomb by the kitty.

I’ve read 12 books so far this year. Which is way better than my 1 for all of 2025. But I’ve only 100% 14 games when I would usually be double that by now. The struggle to balance both hobbies is real, folks.

Made an order for all new swim equipment. Should be available in a few days, then going to the local aquatic centre to get a membership. Getting closer.

It’s really awesome to see major beer companies, Sapporo, Guinness, Heineken, having 0% alcohol versions of their beers. And folks, it tastes exactly like the real deal. It’s sorcery. And no feeling like garbage the next day with a hangover.

I found a pretty cool business called @pixyls.bsky.social that offers a “paint by numbers” experience but it’s pixel art with little square stickers. Just look how happy these little guys are!

I had a rocky May of not biking but definitely made up for it in the month of June with a few 20 miles trips outside. I still have hope for the next half of the year.

I want to get back into swimming. Maybe just lap swimming for now. Though, the urge to join a team is lingering in the shadows ready to pounce.

I love seeing results. Last year, I struggle to keep a 20km/hour pace cycling outside. This year, coasting at 23km/hour 💪

There are two Bianca’s: one with short hair wanting long hair and one with long hair wanting short hair. I’m currently the former and if there were an elixir to get long hair again in an instant I would pay handsomely for it. I miss my space buns.

I’m at the last mission in #007FirstLight and I kind of don’t want it to end. This game has been such fun to play. I might have to just pick up Hitman again after this to fill the void.

Bianca 🌺 @biankadonk.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

This is actually such a huge insult to say that an IP is the reason your game is selling so well and not because you’re the masters of your craft and made something truly great.

There are so many fantastic details in #007FirstLight. But the one I appreciate the most is the main menu‘s background changing with the chapters.

In my decade long career as a lifeguard, I only ever had to jump into the water once. It was to save someone during a flight attendant training exercise. Their coworkers, who were much closer than I, had no idea until I dove in.

My body was not ready for the sheer excitement of hearing that @warhorsestudios.bsky.social is making a Middle-Earth game 🤩 I feel like a kid again.

I'm a pretty big fan of the LEGO video games and I must say that Horizon Adventures in peak. Like, wow. How is this game allowed to be this gorgeous? And it's a fantastic rendition of Horizon Zero Dawn. And it's fun as heck! Like, thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this game a reality.

I may have biked too close to the sun yesterday. A total of 25km in an hour and a half. Which is my longest ride this season So far. Luckily, today is a chill day!

Bianca 🌺 @biankadonk.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Finally watched Project Hail Mary. I read the book, my partner didn’t. His reaction to it was fantastic. It was also a phenomenal movie. A great adaptation. Can’t for the 4 hour director’s cut with all the science scenes and jazz hands.

Bianca 🌺 @biankadonk.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

I took the new bike out for spin after work. Man, I'm so much faster now. I might actually get a bib for the Montreal Tour de L'ile. Maybe 😋

Kitty has unlocked another ridiculous toy interest: takeout straw. There was an extra sticking out of the paper bag and she just locked in on it.

Bianca 🌺 @biankadonk.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

I didn’t need a new bike. But my partner bought a new one at the end of last season and became so much faster than me. Now with my new bike, I will be the fast one again. 🚴‍♀️

Bianca 🌺 @biankadonk.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

Over the years of having kitty, I've spent money on toys for her. As one does to spoil their pet. But I've discovered that she's a basic bitch. All she wants is a crumble up piece of paper trowel and a bottle cap from a chocolate milk bottle. Typical cat 😂

Bianca 🌺 @biankadonk.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

Last year I only read 1 books. Yeah, pretty bad according to my usual amount. This year so far I’ve read 7, and I’m pretty happy about that. Thank you, book club!

I’ve been slowly organizing my music collection for offline listening. I love seeing the album view. But I also hate seeing the album view since nothing matches and sometimes it’s hard to tell which album is for what. I’m so tempted to make it uniform… with pixel art *evil laugh*

Bianca 🌺 @biankadonk.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

Oh my gosh, how are the original Resident Evil 1/2/3 on Steam?! Like why today of all days to release them? I remember booting this games up on my PS1. Loved them. Until Nemesis. That one gave me nightmares. Haven’t played a horror game since. I was 9.

So I like my Herman Miller chair. But, man, sometimes a girl just wants to lean back and cross her legs while at the computer. Does that chair exist and won’t fall apart on delivery?
