good news her blood and x-rays look good. current thought is she ate something/got really congested and it made her very nauseous to the point where she didn't want to eat anymore. they gave her fluids and anti nausea stuff but otherwise she is still strong and healthy

bad news: she did a huge pee in her carrier when going back for tests. good news: she did a huge pee! and it was normal color! I've never been so happy to have a mess to clean up

its so SILLY. something I learned after being in the mobility industry is that a car is the best mobility device, but you tell people that and it breaks the utopia in their mind and they just can't comprehend it. like the best wheelchair in the world won't get you to the doctor on a bad day

power assists are a great SUPPLEMENT to your every day life but not for your primary transport. they exist to save your shoulders and not exhaust you. also there are lots of cheap power assists popping up that are incredibly dangerous and not certified in any way. please be careful.

many of the handicapped do still need cars. power assist like these are cool but they are no replacement unless you live in a heavily urban area. batteries on power assists and power chairs are not meant for long trips, they're meant to get you between modes of transport or medium distances
