‼️ACTION ALERT: The Senate Commerce Committee is holding “kids safety” circus again, this time considering both KOSA (the Kids Online Safety Act) & SCREEN Act, two of the most dangerous censorship & age verification bills on the table! CALL YOUR LAWMAKERS & TELL THEM TO OPPOSE 📲 248-331-8665

The image is a graphic poster with a vibrant red background and contrasting dark purple text. At the top, it contains the message: “Senate Commerce Committee is taking up KOSA + SCREEN Act THIS WEDNESDAY” in bold white letters. Below this, in a larger, informal handwriting-style font is the phrase “TAKE ACTION” in yellow. At the bottom of the image is a phone number, “248-331-8665,” displayed inside a rounded rectangle in dark purple. The overall layout is eye-catching and designed to attract attention to the call for action regarding legislation.

They're trying to pass KOSA again on Monday. Please take the time to contact your representatives and tell them to oppose invasive online ID verification bills. The new version of these bills is known as the KIDS Act. And will be used to censor LGBTQ content online.

PSA: Bluesky's new auto-tagging moderation stuff is a disaster. Disable it. Go into Settings on the Bluesky site and enable adult content and set everything to Warn at most, which makes posts opt-in. Hide just vanishes posts. Then go into Advanced/Bluesky Mod Service and do the same on everything.

Please remember, the future is not set in stone. We can turn things around, but it takes effort. Contact your reps, get involved in local orgs, do what you can.

I really hate to do this, but my uncle passed recently. Money is going to be very tight. I need to try to help support my family. It would really help if you could share this around. Thank you

They’re trying to ram through KOSA, a full Section 230 repeal, and a slew of other anti-LGBTQ censorship and surveillance laws under the guise of “cracking down on AI” and a ton of dumb leftists are falling for it.

Just did my daily calls and boy do I wish I had this list. Make sure to call your reps and let them know about how dangerous each of these are. Or if you don't want to remember a big pitch, just tell them these are bad and you're not voting for anyone who pushes them through.

Please look after your trans loved ones, with constant attacks on our healthcare, wellbeing, and opportunities. Community is more important now than ever. As scary as things are now, I truly, truly hope things get better for us in the future

The 4th Circuit ruled that bans on Medicaid use for Gender-Affirming care for Trans ADULTS are constitutional. Currently, this applies to West Virginia. Expect this to be an ongoing battle in other states, with a potential Supreme Court case in the future. Be safe out there, everyone.

I was not expecting my latest post to blow up like that. Usually my political posts don't really get seen. I'm glad I could keep people informed on such an important issue.

The House Committee on Energy and Commerce passed the Kids Act, a mix of KOSA, Screen Act, and several other ID/facescan verification bills. There is still time before a final vote in the House, as well as a Senate version. Please use this link to call your Senators and Representatives to vote no.
