This coming weekend we celebrate not only one, but two great anniversaries in Paris: IARU turns 100 and the IARU Region 1 turns 75! What an achievement, what a great occasion to sent a truly heartfeld 73 to all radio amateurs worldwide. If you post about the event, please use the hashtag #iaru100.

I found out what Intuitive Machines IM-1 is using for telemetry coding. It's all CCSDS standard: convolutional coding, scrambling, 153-byte AOS frames, CRC-16, spacecraft ID 0xCE. This is how the raster map from telemetry some days after launch looks like.

A raster map of IM-1 AOS frames, in which we can see the AOS header with the virtual channel frame count increasing, and the space where the OCF would be filled with zeros. The payload looks rather random, but there are some patterns visible, which maybe correspond to padding to flush the frame.

The weekend is coming up, do you have an old seagate hard drive controller you would like to put custom code on? You can make it say anything to the serial port you want.... github.com/ruenahcmohr/...
