Getting @discotekmedia.bsky.social titles in Canada has been difficult and/or expensive in recent years. Amazon.ca recently listed a bunch, sold by Amazon.com, not a 3rd party seller. Reasonable prices compared to importing. This one arrived today. I'm no fan of Amazon, but it worked out. #anime

Here's my #NineAnimes thing. I tried to pick series that were influential in my life as an #anime fan and artist, as well as featuring characters that I relate to, instead of just picking my favorites. But a lot of these are my favorites anyway. Kind of a tossup choosing Giant Robo over GaoGaiGar.

Astro Boy (1980s), Street Fighter II Movie, Evangelion, Castle of Cogliostro, Captain Harlock, Fist of the North Star, Gunbuster, Giant Robo, Black Jack.

I was hoping to crack into the newest wave of #Transformers Blokees, but I found myself incredibly confused when the way-too-small packaged arrived and disappointed when I opened it. They only sent me ONE? I ordered a sealed case of 12!

I gave away most of my #BABYMETAL stickers at the concert in Toronto. It felt nice to surprise so many people like that. Everyone was really appreciative, and some were stunned! If you got a sticker from me and tracked me down, let me know! I'd love to see what people do with them.

#BABYMETAL in Toronto was absolutely incredible and completely electrifying. They have so much energy, and it filled the audience with power. This was my third time seeing them live, and this time was the best concert yet. I was so close to the stag, and the entire show blew my mind.

Almost time for #BABYMETAL in Toronto! I am in prime position!

Ninjatron @sykografix.com · 06/09/2026

On my way to Toronto to see #BABYMETAL tomorrow. I made this artwork into stickers to give away to anyone who spots me or if I think you are cool. There are a few shiny and sparkly variations.

Change of plans for tonight. Instead of art, I'm going to use my stream to pay tribute to Peter Cullen. Playing #Transformers Devastation and sharing fandom memories. Starting in about 30 min. Please join me.

Damn it, Twitch. We are not doing this. The perceived entitlement that companies like this have. It's like they want to own our very thoughts and actions.

I found the #Transformers Earthspark video game at a pawn shop recently and tried it out on stream last night. As expected, it's not a great game, but it's not totally terrible either. Very flawed and missing polish, but I can see the ambition in it. This part made me laugh, though.

Bumblebee in a rocky desert environment stands in front of a collectible in game item while the prompt "(B) COLLECT / GRAB" appears above him.

Got some new stuff. Had to import them all from the US. Time to slow down on new acquisitions for a bit, but we'll see if I actually stick to that. Very happy to finally have a copy of Shin Ultraman.

Ninjatron @sykografix.com · 23/07/2026

On my stream tonight, we're going to build #Transformers Blokees Bruticus! Plus open up some other blind boxes and things I've gotten recently, like this Ultraman and Godzilla. Looking to start at around 9:30pm ET. See you then!

Back home and semi-rested from #TFconToronto. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who make it run and all the community members who make it great. And a very special thanks to everyone who watched my panel and bought stickers. It makes me feel like I'm at least doing something right. #tfcon

#TFcon is well underway! I've got some stickers set up at a table in the dealer room, thanks to some cool dudes over by where @theprotoman.bsky.social is. They've got Super SmashFormers, the new DLC, and an assortment of my other single stickers. Check 'em out over there if you can't find me.

NEW CHALLENGERS appear at #TFcon! Announcing the first "DLC" (Drawn Later Content) for Super SmashFormers! ULTRUIGI and DEVABOWSER join the battle in this new sticker sheet! Stick them on your Nintenbro84 System or anywhere else you want. Both will be available at a table in the dealer room.

Here are all the stickers I will have on hand for #TFcon, and a closer look at the 8 new designs for this year. Stickers are 2 for $5. Buy 8, get one free! No table, so just find me! There may be a secret sticker of interest to those who remember a guy who said his name was Ninja Something.

It's almost time for #TFcon! My panel this year is about The 1980s Robot Craze! The time when robot toys were the hot new thing, GoBots and #Transformers fought for dominance, and a myriad of other robots appeared to grab a piece of the action. It kicks off the entire show, Friday at 6pm!

Ninjatron @sykografix.com · 07/07/2026

I got a sample of my No AI Robo Skull shirt and the quality is great considering it's print on demand. I'll be rocking this for Saturday at TFcon. ninjatron-shop.fourthwall.com/en-cad/produ...

Too much to do before #TFcon! Time has really caught up to me. Often it seems like the body won't cooperate when I need it to get something done, but this is the final crunch! Here's a look at a sticker for the show! Working on it more on stream tonight, starting around 9-10pm ET. #Transformers

Oh wow, I have not seen that at all! That looks fantastic. I think I'm going to have to track that down! I found this set of cups as well that I didn't know about. Most of this stuff is not available in Canada, and the cup I bought sold out in less than a week, so I'm lucky to have what I got.

I saw #MastersOfTheUniverse on Sunday and liked it a lot. But unfortunately, my local theater did not get any of the merchandise. I was after the Skeletor popcorn bucket and cup. Thankfully, they became available on the website, so I got what I wanted. Into the Skellection they go.

Playing #UFO50 on my stream last night was a wild time. I only got through the first 2 rows. Some games I liked more than others, but they are all based around an interesting mechanic and have fun quirks to them. But apparently there is an onion game? I don't think I will like that one!

Ninjatron @sykografix.com · 25/05/2026

I'm going to build some #Transformers Defenders Blokees on my stream tonight! So many cool Japanese Beast Wars characters in this wave. Plus, I've finally gotten my hands some something I've been after for a long time that I can show. Looking to start around 9:30pm ET or so.

On this day, April 15, in 2008, I uploaded what would become my most popular artwork, The Justice League of Anime. It took on a life of its own. I'm very proud of and I still find people discussing it now and again. Coincidentally, I've been thinking about it a lot recently. I still see potential.

Fan art by Ninjatron paying homage to Bruce Timm's Justice League artwork, but with the DC super heroes swapped with classic anime characters. Captain Harlock, Cyborg 009, Cutie Honey, Goku from Dragon Ball Z, Lupin III, Astro Boy, and Sailor Moon.

I was looking for it to include in a panel I presented at TFcon last summer about SD Transformers, but couldn't find it online. I hoped I had a copy saved somewhere, and I found it on an old CDR! Unfortunately, I didn't end up using it in the panel due to time, but it's here now!

On tonight's Twitch stream, should everything go as planned: I'm going to open up a bunch of Masters of the Universe Origins figures, specifically some of the more rare & valuable ones! Each character has a unique history that I will discuss. Looking to start around 9:30pm ET. #MastersOfTheUniverse

I love searching for old commercials for toy lines, especially from other countries. I just found an ad for "Robo Machines", which is a UK version of the 1980s GoBots. This shot makes me laugh uncontrollably. I hope I'm not the only one who sees it.

Planning to finally open the latest batch of Blokees #Transformers Defenders tonight on stream. This is the set with the Beast Wars characters and more Combaticon pieces to form Bruticus. Also, I've been working on something cool I can show. Starting at around 9pm ET or so. See you then.

What a long, strange journey this has been. Ordered on Aug 20, 2024. Arrived today. People were saying Canadian orders were cancelled or something? Not mine, thankfully. I waited long enough for this! But I'm probably not going to open it right away, so I guess it doesn't matter. #Transformers

Here's some of the stuff I opened during my final stream of the year last night. It was an eclectic mix of various blind-packed items, some of which I've had stashed away for a long time. Not shown: When I got three of the same thing in a row.

My usual stream day just happens to be Christmas? Oh well. I would like to offer a place to hang out and chat today anyway. I'm having a Blok party! Going to open up this box of #Transformers Blokees Defenders. Start time is whatever! 9pm ET? 10pm ET? I don't know yet, but it's happening. See ya.

Finally got my Black Friday AnimEigo order in. That took awhile. I think this is the third time I've bought Bubblegum Crisis. In the grand scheme of things, that isn't very many. I suspect there are some true blue Knight Sabers out there who have bought BGC at least 5 or 6 times. #anime

So, this is profoundly disappointing. #Transformers Titans Return Arcee is a prized possession. To see the Titanmaster head turn yellow like this breaks my heart. I swear, I just looked at it a few weeks ago and didn't notice anything like this happening. Had not heard this was an issue before.

Transformers Titans Return Arcee. The head is formed by a small robot. The white plastic on the head has turned yellow.
