I just watched his Tiny Desk concert based on this comment and I can't stop laughing I didn't even have to listen to it to agree with you

Hmm...I'm starting to wonder whether our relationship to photojournalism needs to change considering we live in a society where we're being watched at all times. 'Cause why do we need to see close-up photos of this man sobbing in order to care about people being disappeared off the street?

Screenshot of a Bluesky post that reads "A distraught man came to Broadview searching for his wife of five years after she was taken by ICE at her court hearing. He wasn’t told anything, tracked her by her phone, and was left weeping in the parking lot." There are four images inset showing the man sitting against a wall and crying.

I've been noodling at this practice painting for a week now and I guess it's going well?? But I'm terrified of painting that afro. I think I'm gonna need a nap after 🙃

Here's a little doodle I drew of my cat (yes this is a cat lady account) The color is off bc MSPaint doesn't have blending, but I do like his cute little face

A MSPaint sketch of a brown tabby cat with bluish-green eyes

I had to read this Atlantic article about Watergate for work a few months ago and I can't stop thinking about it. Peep the date in the screenshot 😬 www.theatlantic.com/magazine/arc...

If the Nixon White House escapes the legal consequences of its illegal behavior, why will future Presidents and their associates not suppose themselves entitled to do what the Nixon White House has done? Only condign punishment will restore popular faith in the presidency and deter future Presidents from illegal conduct—so long, at least, as Watergate remains a vivid memory. Corruption appears to visit the White House in fifty-year cycles. This suggests that exposure and retribution inoculate the presidency against its latent criminal impulses for about half a century. Around the year 2023 the American people will be well advised to go on the alert and start nailing down everything in sight.

Hello Bluesky! I'm trying to get better at posting on here, so here are so pet portraits I drew for my coworkers

A MS paint drawing of a black and white cat standing on its hind legs. His green eyes are big and sad as he begs you for something

A MSpaint drawing of a cream and brown cat with sky blue eyes.

A MSpaint drawing of a tricolor bunny rabbit in front of a stylized leafy background. Golden flowers frame its face
