Very proud of the Science Fiction Collections at the University of Liverpool receiving this status - Tom and the team at the university have worked really hard for this. It is well-earned for the national & international significance of the collections! news.liverpool.ac.uk/2026/09/08/a...

The 2026 Hugos are awarded, and their stats are out. Look how very, very pretty the vote transfer charts are! So pretty! So comprehensible! Here, for example, is the sequence of voting transfers which happened for Best Poem. @lizbatty.bsky.social and Andrew January have done lovely work here. <3
A series of seven vote categories are color-coded. As votes transfer into other categories, the colors flow into the categories they have been transferred too, until the winner is determined.

Makes sense! Reinhart Schleier, Tabula Cebetis: oder, Spiegel des Menschlichen Lebens darin Tugent und untugent abgemalet ist (1973). I suspect you don't need the specific relevant chapter reference, but I know I have my copy around here somewhere.

If only they read German I could send you straight to my major source on that aspect of the subject!

I addressed the frontispiece somewhat in passing in a paper I presented on Tabula Cebetis illustrations in honor of Bert Hall's retirement. A published festschrift never happened, so I don't have a formal version of it, but if it's useful, it wouldn't take me much time to fill in the gaps in it.
