Something I absolutely adore about Deadlock are the convos characters have at the start of a chat. Never has an MOBA made me so invested in its characters purely from just voicelines alone. Infernus is my fave. :'3

On another note, trying to do the "smart thing" and level armorer and blacksmith at the same time, but I struggle to just make the right materials for each class so I can get the crafting log EXP. Should probably look up a proper guide... I just want to be able to craft Bastion gear on release.

My FFXIV checklist is done until Evercold, but now I've got almost a full month left of sub since I needed a little extra time to level Miner. 😭 - MSQ is up to date - Hildibrand is up to date - I maxed out Beastmaster - I maxed out Miner I'm not really sure what to do with the remaining time...

I don't think Caine was created to be neurodivergent representation, but it feels that way to me. I never got diagnosed because I'm pretty high functioning and I don't want to start making excuses. ... Man, with this and the need for that Snaptic, I'm starting to realise I'm not really okay. 😂

You go about your daily life, trying to do what you can because it's really the only thing you can do; you think you're normal, but you have these moments where it becomes clear that you're not, and you eventually start resenting OTHERS for it even though they never did a thing.

It happened again... Persuaded my way out of an encounter, found out that one of the best loot items in the game is locked behind taking the murderhobo route. There is ZERO benefit to playing smart in Solasta besides just skipping fights for less XP and no loot, this is some serious BS.

Just realised that I never finished my Healer class quests for Dawntrail, as I'm going through the class quests for Gatherer. WOOPS. I have a pretty good memory when it comes to at least "summarising" things I've seen, so that explains why I couldn't remember the ending to that questline...

Check out Petopia for WoW: LOOK AT THE VARIETY AND QUALITY OF THE MODELS. Everything else about FFXIV has been a delight in my last year of playing it, but man, Beastmaster is hardly worth the time and effort. It may be worth it for the mounts and hairstyle at the end of it, but not me.

Look at how Beastmaster handles it; sure, it took them a lot of time and effort to code in the proper skills for each beast, but seeing how each mob has a bunch of different reskins throughout the game, only to be able to unlock ONE at rank 25 is disappointing. And most aren't even GOOD.

As much as it pains me to say this about Beastmaster, considering I came back to #FFXIV almost purely to play it: #WoW did it better, and it's just a small part of a BASE CLASS. Hunter in WoW allows you to tame almost every version of a mob as long as it's tagged with "beast".

If I was more willing to spend money on physical collectibles, I would definitely have a long line of Hot Wheels on my shelf... I think if I do that, I'll at least buy a Twin Mill. It's my favourite of the lot, and apparently a classic, so it'd be a nice one to at least own of my own accord.

Going through the Hildibrand questline has been nothing but laughs, and it helps me remember some of the locales I went though during my 5 month journey through MSQ from start to finish (+ a lot of raids I liked). 😂 #FFXIV

I like how Xenotrainer Primalist in the Neon Odyssey expansion is obviously meant to be Pokemon-themed, but mechanically, it honestly works amazingly for a Spectrobes-style character. You could straight-up make a human Xenotrainer, give him a laser sword, and then make Rallen. :P

Going from my White Mage outfit to levelling Miner in THIS crime against fashion is so depressing. 😭 It's fine, I'm just doing this until tomorrow when Beastmaster is out... And then once that is done, maxing Miner so I can hopefully convince some Blacksmith to make Bastion gear with new materials.

Firefox; rolls and sheets would take minutes to load, and sometimes the map itself would lock in place. I'm almost certain it was even causing my WIFI adapter to crash. I only disabled Performance Enhancement out of curiosity, and the improvement was immediately visible and significantly better.

Honestly, I don't know why this worked, but if it works for me, it might help someone else. It sounds like the kind of feature that's meant to do the exact opposite, but as soon as I turned it off, my roll20 has worked better than it has in months.

Public service announcement for anyone who uses @roll20.net: Turn Performance Enhancements off if you're experiencing intense lag when DM'ing DnD 5e or anything of the sort. My browser had been struggling to run even a SINGLE NPC, but after doing this, my game runs completely fine.

September is right around the corner, which means I can finally get back to FFXIV... I played the game for like 5-6 months straight to get through the entirety of the MSQ (plus a few raids I liked), so I needed a break until the 7.5 epilogue and Beastmaster.
