Woke up this morning and felt like listening to this again - it's become one of my favourite Destiny videos to just drop into and listen back to a poem or short story. youtu.be/InrR7gmxUpw?...

"Ok but what is the Ides of March?"
"March fifteenth, the day, is the Ides of March."
"You realize that don't make a lick more sense than it did at the beginning of this conversation, right?"
"It is a literary reference."
"I thought you said it was March fifteenth, the date."
"It... it is. There is more to it than that."
"I'm assumin' that since I still ain't got no clue what in the hell we're talkin' about any more."

I had the pleasure of being an artist of @swordlogiczine.bsky.social. Everyone made phenomenal art in both the visual and written realms. I envisioned what the throne room would look like for Xivu. #Destiny2 #Destiny2Art #Xivu #XivuArath

Xivu’s throne room in her throne world is shown with a Hive run with her symbol. Staircases surround a throne in the middle which lead to steps that have blood trailing on it. Two fountains sit on either side of the staircases. The walls have swirling designs with small window-looking structures.

A sequence featuring Hashladun pinned to the floodplain and facing four inundations: by water, fire, scouring light, and a secret fourth. Through each trial, she loses more of her chitin and body. By the last, she looks bloodied and injured. Ir Yut hovers above her, bathed in green light and haloed in darkness by Crota's oversoul.

Image featuring Eris Morn in silouette, Eris' Bane of the Swarm symbol, and Eris standing within a ritual circle surrounded by Hive Acolytes on their knees worshipping her.

Text beside image reads:

Iconoclasm

Crack through the chitin!
Chip off the teeth!
What writhes above us
Dismember beneath!

She who wields those
Who kill gods as her knives!
She who takes Vengeance
For those who have died!

Tear out your worms!
Break all the swords!
Disrupt the rituals!
Alter the wards!

Crota has fallen!
Oryx is dead!
Give her the mantle
Of all that has bled!

She who strikes fear
In Xivu Arath!
Haruspex walking
The Bladed Path!

Ruin of Savathun
Exposer of lies!
Blasphemy! Heresy!
Give her your eyes!

Many-Mouthed Hunger!
Bane of the Swarm!
We tithe ourselves
To Eris Morn!

An impressionist style painting of Oryx in his boss fight room. The crystals in front of him glow a bright blue, as his eyes glow a light magenta. He is grabbing the support pillars on either side of him. Saturn is barely seen in the background.

[It is] Dûl Incaru’s plea for her mother’s love: an attempt at understanding in the hopes that she would also understand her. Imagine how lonely it'd be if your mother had never once told you the truth about anything. For @swordlogiczine.bsky.social #swordlogiczine #destiny2art #myart #Destiny2AOTW

A digital illustration of Dûl Incaru, the Eternal Return, daughter of the Witch Queen Savathûn, from the game Destiny 2.
She is holding herself tightly in a sentimental pose, arms crossing her chest with her head resting on one hand. She is a Hive Wizard with a unique model, with tall flanges on the side of the crest on her head, which gives the impression of wings or ears. She has three glowing green eyes. She has broad, spiky pauldrons that are pierced with spiked rings. Around her wrists are spiked bracelets inscribed with glowing Hive runes. She has more spiked rings attached at the waist, from which flow crimson ribbons. She is flanked by shattered columns, and looming behind her are Savathûn's three eyes.
