Nothing new really. They've been charging different prices at various locations for years. Family neighbourhood? Cheaper + coupons accepted. Downtown core? More expensive, plus they don't accept coupons.

Except she isn't middle class. After deductions she is the working poor. Thanks to health care costs and other expenses the vast majority of Americans are the working poor. Most Americans have huge credit card debt. Meanwhile in Canada healthcare is free, daycare is free, etc = Less debt.

Actually knows how to fight. Gets injured regularly. Not a Mary Sue (or Gary Stu). Often resorts to outsmarting opponents. Isn't waiting around for a man to save her. Examples: Sarah Connor Okoye Ripley Motoko Kusanagi Furiosa Brienne of Tarth NOT She-Ra. She is too OP + doesn't get injured.

Sony has decided to focus on selling digital-only games that expire and cannot be resold or refunded when they expire. No surprise, many people are boycotting digital-only games. My wife and I got a refurbished #PS2 console today. Why? Because old PS2 games never expire. Including S&S games...

Ah, but for anyone who has studied Greek mythology... You will know that the original pronunciation of Zeus was Dzeus. Dzeus = Deus (God in Latin) Dzeus = Theós (θεός, God in Modern Greek). Ergo... Christians do believe in Dzeus. They just don't realize it is the same thing. #linguistics 🤔

I suspect that a lot of books fall into the #SwordandSaga subgenre, especially since it is the one that more closely resembles #DungeonsandDragons themed adventures that typically feature 4 to 6 main characters. Examples Conan the Barbarian - 1 or 2 The Crystal Shard - 5 Lord of the Rings - 8

Except that is literally the lore accurate version of Adam's backstory. People would get upset if you ignore the original lore. I am personally happy he is a happy-go-lucky character as that fits with the 1980s version of the character. We don't always want a dark depressing hero.

"Sword and Saga" evokes a blend of the two. Larger and more epic stories, but with a Sword and Sorcery feel that doesn't adhere to the trademarks of the subgenre.

Dear #FantasyAuthors... If your book was on a spectrum, how would you define it between these two essentially "polar opposites". Obviously you can mix the 2, a bit, but then it becomes more like an "Epic-Sword-and-Sorcery-esque" story. Maybe even a separate subgenre that needs a name?

Let's compare 2 examples of scale. Does your story take place in a single night in a wizards tower, like REH's "The Tower of the Elephant"? So one location, limited time period. Or... Do your characters quest across a 3rd of a continent over months, like in LOTR? Which is more accurate?
