I saw a lot of these and wanted to do one.

The 9 games that shaped my life:
Super Mario Sunshine
Rock Band
Sorry Mario Odyssey
Plants Vs. Zombies
Donut County
A Short Hike
Wii Sports
Donkey Kong 64
Mario Party

I set some goals that were a bit too ambitious and some goals that were way too easy. That being said I'm happy with my 2025 speedrunning career and I'm excited to see what 2026 brings. New board drops sometime after midnight.

Well this was a good stream lol. Another 2 goals down. Up next will probably be either 0 Star or 70 Star depending on which one I get first. I will be working on SM64 until the league ends on the 15th, then I'll go back to Galaxy until that league ends.

Another big one down. Cut it closer than I'd like but still got it. Up next is SMS ACE but since its so difficult and I don't want to go insane trying to finish a run I've decided to alternate it with 70 star until I get sub hour in either category.

Day 6. This run has almost 4 minutes of timesave in Noki I. I genuinely thought it was dead and was just playing for golds until the Noki 100s gold by over a minute.

I got a 3:19:30 96 Shines run I forgot to post here but after 2 days of grinding 120 I dropped my pb by 41 minutes and now I'm within 6 and a half minutes of my goal. This is insane. I'm continuing with daily no resets until I get it but sub 4 may come sooner than expected. 👀

4:28:18 (+7:07 out of box game 2), -19:37 off old pb

4:06:19, -21:58 off day 1 pb, sob 3:51:32

im so mad, i finally got out of first half after weeks of attempts and it dies to me thinking i had more coins than i needed and getting lucky on both slots so i couldnt get the backup coins

99 coins in sirena 4 100s and 4 minutes behind with no more coins to be collected

This one felt good. 1K points isn't that impressive but that plus my sub 1:30 any% is definitely a good start towards being good at SMS. I'm currently running 96 Shines for a sub 3:20 then I will move on to 120 Shines.

switch_runner: 1007 points on the SMS IL sheet

Another one down, and a pretty massive one too. Still not sure which one I want to do next, probably either 0, 1, or 16 cause they seem the easiest. Or maybe all 3?

switch_runner @switchrunner.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

ok yeah I just had to vent, I feel better and I'm playing better, if I don't sub 1:30 by Sunday I may still continue.

Got a 4:04:48 with @animee.dad on 64, @thetraderstan.bsky.social on sms, and me on smo. Beat my old relay pb by 8 minutes. Another 2 goals down!

Another 2 goals destroyed in the past 246 race! Got a 3:04:47 g1 by accident and finished the 246 with a final time of 10:34:31.

When making my 2025 goals post I realized there was a more lot goals I wanted to do this year so I figured I'd put them on a bingo board and see how many I can get done. If you want to watch my progress through the board, drop me a follow at twitch.tv/switch_runner Right now I'm going for SMS Any%.

First PACE, ngl a little overwhelming to see so many people I watch on twitch in person. Really amazing.

Important announcement for those going to PACE (and ig those who aren't too). This is what I look like. I'll be at PACE Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so if you see me, come say hi! I'll be wandering around or watching in the crowd most of the time. I'll also be in the sms relay on Friday.
