Anyone commenting on the Green Party Zionism is racism motion should be forced to replace 'Zionism' with the definition from the motion 'a political ideology which called for the creation – and, now it exists, the continuity – of an ethnonationalist Jewish State in historic Palestine to the […]

I’ve lived in Nottingham for 29 years and I’ve never been to Goose Fair. Just not bothered by it. People seem to find this remarkable. I just don’t really like fairs. Being a massive one doesn’t put it on my ‘maybe’ list. Also, minted peas, Nottingham. WTF?

Me aged 16 or so. I’ve got hair (!), biggish glasses and I’m wearing a Thunder t-shirt. In my arms is a white a grey herringbone tabby called Crumble. Crumb looks like she’d rather be out murdering rabbits. Or maybe she’s glaring at my girlfriend.

Carl Weathers’ leisure wear in Rocky 3 is quite the vibe.
Carl Weathers as Apollo Creed in Rocky 3. He’s standing on a beach wearing a blue crop top, tiny shorts and white socks pulled up. Well, he beat Rocky in the beach race too, so we must be due another montage.

The “up to 100% effective” you hear in adverts always makes me chuckle. Um… obviously that’s as effective as it could be, no? Then I head an advert the other day only claiming “up to 90% effective”, and I wondered at their lack of ambition for their product.

Goat morning to you
An absurdly beautiful sunrise, with silhouetted trees along the horizon, and bright pink and orange clouds stretching across the blue skyThe same view, slightly later in the morning just as the sun is about to peek above the horizon, with a whole bunch of goats back to eating the corn stalks in a frost-killed garden bed, the same place they were eating a couple of days ago. There's also a floofy white dog in with the goats, and just visible on the edge of the photo is a large yellowish dog overseeing the whole scene.

9 years since I had the pleasure of ushering at my oldest friend’s wedding. I wore a hat for the day, and the bride’s father (from Northern China), I’m told, was very impressed at the cool, distinguished English gentleman in the hat.

From the top left:
Skyrim

Fallout 4
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Sorry to say, but Ted Lasso s4 is poor. There are flashes of what made the show great, but the rest of it is pretty dreadful. For a show bankrolled by Apple, it also seems oddly cheap.
