I'm gonna be promoting my commissions and art a WHOLE lot more. To ditch my Subscribestar, I'd need $300 a month. I don't mind working for my big client since they're respectful and pay well, but I don't want to be this financially dependent on them anymore. So the aim would be $1000. We'll see.

I'm noticing a shift in attitude from DMS on the NSFW side of things. Almost like they came to a small artist because they were expecting commissions to be almost free. I've been told a few times they'd just "download my art and have [slop] generate it instead". I think I'm done.

I've made basically zero progress story/mechanics wise because of the sheer amount of research I've been doing. But it's for a good cause - I'm learning how art direction can not only affect a game's look, but also performance. The "after" image doesn't just look better - it runs better too!

Not only is this easier on the pain in my hand, it's also... I changed a shot here. Different camera angle, brand new animation. Took a couple hours. If I had to redo that shot in 2D, it would take all week... plus. I really have a new appreciation and love for 3D animation!
