played probably every one of their freemium games they've released at this point and I'm tired of it. The only one that has ever hooked me is Sleep (Which were made by the same devs as Magikarp Jump, a mobile game imo done right) but the rest either I dropped or the service died. I don't see them -

on the Switch 1 for sure. It runs a lot better on the Switch 2, but to me it just felt like they cared more about their mobile game market. I wish TPCi would STOP making freemium games. I feel like we don't get side games much anymore because all the focus is on making these freemium games. I've -

if they didn't get to use the mon they paid for (Whether it was streamers or random people you paired up with). It just sucked all around, sometimes they would release something balanced but I found a lot of the time they would quickly patch to overtune it. The last point, the game ran terribly -

solo q players too. Which already made for a pretty miserable experience when its a team game. The second point, yea them doing this constantly is what made me quit after sinking 1500+ hours into the game. Sure draft helped, but you need to hit Master for that and also some people just got upset -

Re: The first point, I'm glad they didn't have types mattering because the roster is *really* limited. I also just think it would have been a nightmare to balance, which there already are balancing issues so adding this would have made it worse. I also think this would have encouraged more 1 trick -

I suppose Sleep (Which IS a goated "game" btw) making more revenue than Unite last year probably didn't help, why put money into competitions when your game isn't pulling much financially? I know the service isn't shutting down, but it feels inevitable at this point, and it really saddens me.

Anyone who's known me for years knows I have... thoughts about this game in general, but this still makes me sad. The core gameplay loop is really fun but bogged down by money making decisions (Naming releasing new Pokemon or overtuning certain Pokemon to sell skins).

Fwiw I'm glad to be able to draw for a living and I don't want to come off as ungrateful for that. But monetizing and building a following off what started off a creative hobby can be a bit draining, sometimes I just wanna draw a fluffy cat with wings

Mostly I find it hard to "enjoy" drawing and have for a while now, I think part of it is because I barely draw either what I want or for myself nowadays (Mostly in immense fear of being seen as putting off my work but that's a different story) I'm hoping this would let me enjoy drawing again

Dawn of the Clans: A Tier I found there was weird pacing at times during this arc and I had many feelings/thoughts while I was reading, but man that final chapter made me sob the entire time I was reading it. I knew what was coming and I still wasn’t emotionally prepared.

Bramblestar's Storm: B Tier OOTS has got me pumped to read a bunch more, and I'm kinda conflicted with this book. I think it's good and has a nice focus on Bramble post OOTS, but I think this would have been better as an arc rather than a super edition. But it gets pretty drawn out so idk.

Maybe it's a good thing I dropped it because book 6 wasn't out yet when I was reading (and I would have perished having to wait after book 5), I had pre ordered book 5 and picked it up but unfortunately lost interest. I think POT sadly killed a lot of that interest as a kid tbh.

I have sorta changed my opinion on Hollyleaf now, I really didn’t like her as a kid. As an adult I still kinda don’t like her, but I respect how she’s written since it’s interesting. Lionblaze went through character development I forgot about too.

Power of Three: B tier Main characters were really good (Jayfeather being my favorite after all these years), but it’s held back a lot by some fluff and slightly confusing connection in plot. I know this is kinda part 1 of 2 leading to OoTS though.

Leopardstar's Honor: A tier I heard really mixed things about this book online, and it does have major pacing issues (Especially the first few chapters) but I felt it got really good later. It was interesting seeing Riverclan's perspective during TPB and why Leopardstar did what she did tbh.

The New Prophecy: A tier It's really good and I enjoyed it a lot, however I'm a bit hung up that Leafpool somehow forgot about Hawkfrost threatening her friend halfway through this arc...? Considering how central Hawkfrost was this arc it really bugged me
