Anyone who's known me for years knows I have... thoughts about this game in general, but this still makes me sad. The core gameplay loop is really fun but bogged down by money making decisions (Naming releasing new Pokemon or overtuning certain Pokemon to sell skins).

Not sure if this interests anyone, but I made a Switch controller skin for RetroSpy that I'll probably release on my main in the next week There seemed to be a lack of a good skin for Switch controllers so I decided to change that, not sure how many people have the hardware for it but never know

Project I’ve been working on on and off for the last 2 months now, this is the biggest project I’ve ever crocheted!

A pink, purple, and white striped crochet blanket laid over a queen sized bed. The stitches are done in half double crochet, and the blanket measures 75 inches wide by 71 inches long.

I just spent the last hour or so going through my Twitters (Both main and alt) deleting all my artwork. Any artist who hates GenAI and does not want to willingly consent to their artwork being fed into one should seriously consider removing their art as well, this new TOS goes into effect Jan 15th

Behind the emote making process! Lately I've been doing a bunch of larger scale canvas drawings either to get a feel for the character or get a concept down better without feeling so restricted. Here's just a few I've done more recently!

Multiple sketches of Phantom's Boo OC, the idea here was to sketch the OC to get comfortable with them, most of these made the final product

A sketch of a Tsareena and Gardevoir for Slopdop, the idea here was to get the elements of the characters right as the size was already nearly good for an emote but needed to be widened to get a better image of where things should go

A sketch of Lonely's OC, this one actually had multiple sketches because I was struggling a lot with drawing a human. I basically joked around with this sketch after struggling, but I actually liked this concept the best so I kept it and cleaned it up

I'm not sure if I'll finish this, but I've wanted to make some sort of tutorial for so long on how I approach/use color for my work. If I do finish I plan to release it as a PDF on my ko-fi for free/pay what you want

A mock script of a tutorial on using color for artwork, it reads:

"How I use color in art
Basics:
Color mixing

Color Theory
Associating colors to things

Advanced:
Breaking down colors
Matching colors
Color studies
Exaggerating colors
Creating harmonic pieces

I’ve always been told how much people like how I use color in my art, and have even been asked about how I do it. It’s always been a bit tough to explain, so I decided to write this out in hopes of enlightening people about my process! If you are reading this then that means you’re interested too, and I do hope that this ends up helping you!
