Apparently they wanted Lodoss War to be a D&D series, but TSR wouldn't give them the license. So they hitched their wagon to Sword World RPG instead. I wonder, if this had the D&D branding would it be spoken of the same way Dragonlance and Drizzt are? If only we could see the road not travelled...

What surprised me most about coming back to this is how I'd find myself mouthing the words to different fan remixes while playing. Even switch between different versions of the same song without even realizing until I revisited those tracks. Hopefully we get Perfect Cherry Blossom next!

I'm happy that, when I'm playing Tokon, my mind doesn't immediately go to "I wish this was a Marvel vs Capcom game". It feels different and good enough to where I'm cool with it being it's own thing. I still want MvC to come back at some point, but I'm happy ArcSys has made something this solid.
