Read this so many times to my kids that I know by heart even though it’s been a good minute since we’ve read it. I’ll never get rid of this book

And I’m on to MW2 (original) now for my steam deck summer and I just got to this mission. I’ve always played this mission straight and today, I’m just gonna be the biggest asshole and play it as a way over his head and into the undercover role play way too much scenario

A blurry, Hastily taken picture of my steam deck screen showing that I am starting the No Russian mission

Whatever else, I am eternally grateful to this book for making me read again like I used to and helping recapture the feeling I love about books and reading especially as someone who for the longest longest time was someone who was never without a book wherever I went.

Convinced my wife to watch midsommar with me A little later than we planned but it’s happening

Midsommar paired with a Friday night, Witchshark double IPA, a glass from Retro MTL and a break from Sekiro

And now as I wait for the switch 2 I’m happy to report I’m back on my bullshit and have restarted final fantasy 7 rebirth for a ng+. Playing on the pro and it’s really amazing how stunning it looks and play on the ps5 pro. Can’t wait to play it all again, I think rebirth is personal perfect game

Every new spin around the sun begins with a workout in the morning and then a shower beer. For years it’s always been this beer that starts the day Cheers to another tour. I hope to make the world a better place for all pass by for however long I get here

Book 2 of the year was something I picked up at book city in sale. Has no idea what to expect but it met the moment of uncertainty quite well. #reading #books

A book I got for Christmas this year that has helped a great deal over the last month with everything going on and has in a small way reminded of what I need to do and be aware of in this moment. I hope I can carry the lessons forward for as long as needed #reading #books

So #deepseek might actually be a little more than stupid and not ready for prime time. (The game came out in November 2024)

My #xbox year in review. The Minecraft numbers all belong to my kids. I total I probably spent 50 hours on my series x all year and that was all September and October for lies of P and black ops 6. Loved both, especially lies of P but man my XSX is a glorified Minecraft machine for my kids #gaming

Random scrolling of #tiktok last that algo’d into my fyp feed a jokey video of a short girl asking a tall girl for help putting something on a high shelf. scrolling away, a feedback request pops up that looks like this: what the actual fuck options are those? Less friendship! Less height diff?

One of the best beers released in Toronto this year is a variation of of the classic Amsterdam Brewery Fracture double IPA. This pink can (juicy variant) has been a beautifully good drink

The packaging for the 30th anniversary dual sense controller is so goddamn good and nostalgic as hell. Prettiest controller I own now, it is making me weak with memories and feelings. #ps5 #playstation #gaming

Finished dead space remake last night. Amazing game that got lost in the spectacular year that 2023 was for games. I can also see how people waited for this to drop in price, hard to continually justify 90$ (🇨🇦) for a 10-12 hour game (I know it’s its fair it is is what it is). #deadspace #ps5

Just finished reading this history book that uses Red Dead Redemption 2 as a vehicle to talk about that period in history, what the game gets right, what it misses & takes license with & what it ultimately teaches us. Great book that was jarring to start before & finish after, the US election #rdr2

Non fiction book “Red Dead’s History: a video game, an obsession, and America’s violent past” by Tore C. Olsson

Some seasonal reading. Been awhile since I read this. Picked it up at my local hobby shop recently for 5$, an absolute steal for one the greatest and most influential Batman stories ever told. 27 years later, this story holds up wonderfully and the art and aesthetic are timeless. #batman #halloween
