I grew up in rural Appalachia. House on a dirt road. Neighbors on three sides were cows and on the fourth side was a mountain. This was the first time I ever remember watching a scene in a TV show or movie and thinking, "They don't have to say anything b/c I know exactly what they are feeling."

Worth noting that most of the horror titles -- Dracula Lives, Frankenstein, and Haunt of Horror -- were tagged as having male and female fans. Not familiar with Haunt of Horror, but Dracula Lives was in magazine format and had more sex and violence than the code-approved titles.
