swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 15hI feel like linkedin posters always had a 'voice' that wasn't far removed from what ai output would end up reading like. That culture of insincere hustle culture entrepreneurial attention-seeking pro-corporate bs was always kinda Like That. 020
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I'm not even convinced Taira actually views Azuma romantically, and personally I think it's a far stronger endpoint for his character development this way 120

Or you could argue that *conceptually* the anniversary fell yesterday, since I gather the show aired at 25:15 (1.15 AM). Which's the significance of the anniversary: the start of modern late-night anime. 44320
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Will watch the third and final batch over this week I guess. And then catch up on SBR 100
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Jolyne rocks. I love how every Joestar has a distinct personality, and I love how hers is "fuck you" Insane JoJo to watch as your first and only. Not just for the sheer amount of backstory it's seeped in, but also for the general insanity. Fun shit though. 010
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026And that's the second batch Some wildly creative and cool and fukken weird as hell stands and plot developments. Great stuff. 200

swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I will never got bored of JoJo's "I'm gonna attack you!" "Ha! I knew you were, so I laid a trap!" "Ha! I knew you were gonna lay a trap, so I feinted! Here's my real attack!" "Ha! I knew you were gonna anticipate my trap! Here's my real trap!" "NANI?!?" bullshit 100
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026and with that, the absolutely packed summer season is over autumn looking a helluva load quieter is a welcome reprieve! 100
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Polar Opposiiiiiiites total - extremely earned - victory lap of a last episode for frankly one of the greatest romcoms ever made An absolute delight from start to finish, vibrant and eclectic and heartfelt and nuanced and cartoony and just very, very, very lovely 000
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Fun episode and very, very apparent that we're now in the final stretch - Plot is beginning 000
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026rather funny episode when viewed from the perspective of Britain's darts culture and the stereotypes around it 100

swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026first batch rewatched, and I'm glad I did because wow I remembered very little also wow this gets extremely weird and creative and cool and deranged, how far Araki was able to take stands is striking comparing with pt3 where they're mostly "things what punch" 100
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026So I've heard, and contrasting the pace between it and prior seasons that seems to be the case 000
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I'm Looking For a Zombie was really insubstantial. Just another zombie post-apocalypse show, but with a very cheery light-hearted tone, but not in a way that does much. That the characters are super 1-dimensional kinda seals it. Didn't do anything for me. 010
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 03/10/20262 cours of it and my conclusion is "what was the fucking point of any of this" 100
swabl @swabl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Bookworm S4 fucking sucked, jesus christ So much rushing through stuff that also felt arbitrary and largely didn't matter while Myne becomes a less interesting character as opportunities for tension between her old self expectations and new world realities are truncated to "she feels kinda uncomfy" 300
