After 3 weeks of travelling and 2 weeks with septicemia and antibiotics due to infected pressure sores, not so many plants in my garden are alive anymore. However, I found a daylily and a butterfly today 👍🏻

I've been having a cold the most of my time here in Laos so I haven't been able to see much outside the hotel area. However, I have enjoyed the stunning Mekong river view and the hotel garden. Very peaceful and beautiful place. Tomorrow it'll be time for me to travel to Riga in Latvia 🇱🇻 ✈️

One of its siblings came after a while and then those two walked away together. Yes, their nest is probably somewhere close. We have a whole lot of gulls and their nests in my area 🙂

Today I was happy because I found a much more well-behaved bird than the constantly pooping geese and the constantly screaming gulls. It just sat on the ground for a long time, alone and quiet. Then my phone suggested it might be...a baby gull.
