i remember watching a cgp grey video years ago where he mentioned he actually liked that youtube didn't let you change things after uploading, bc he could view projects as "done" ik not quite the same, but i feel like they're similar in that you don't learn to make final creative decisions ykwim 😞

honestly dare i say it, this game as a whole is kind of miserable to play most of the time.. think my one friend called it gambling in the sense that it feels *really* good when you're winning, but most of the time you're not and it feels awful :p

in particular i suspect that the fandom has not had a particularly outsized impact on the story, just because things seem a bit too cohesive for that.. like i think we'd have a lot more "shadow mantle big shots make the world revolving" type dialogue if that was the case lol

the person that got me into the game kept saying "don't play this game, it's bad" (i do the same now lol) I've only been playing since blue bird (💔) but the game does feel.. i guess rudderless? idk, it doesn't feel like they're telling any sort of cohesive story (or even vision really) at all
