Unfortunately because of Lance / Contador etc - I struggle to vibe with anyone in the tour that shows exceptional feats of strength and endurance. :( it’s become the default to just assume it’s not genuine.

“had bathed in a brown sugar and salt brine for days. These would be smoked over cherry wood.” Did this with a brisket with my lad the other weekend. He’s got a portable smoker and assorted smoking woods on his birthday list which is quite surreal compared to what I had on my list at 14 🤣

Yeah I think I’ll move them from the polytunnel tho as need the space really and then just let them crack on. Saving seed is one of my things for this year.. always do the borlotti and Greek beans but never really done anything else.. could save a few quid!

These are my random brassica beasts @royandtanyaorganic.bsky.social 🤣 I think a cauli and a sprout in the pictures, a couple of others in there. So pristine - not a mark on them and beautiful when water falls and beads on the leaves. 🥰

A sprout I planted last year and popped in the poly tunnel rather than the compost.

Talking of sprouts I left one in my poly tunnel over winter that was a few inches high and missed last year.. it’s now over 2ft but I need the tunnel space.. move it outside and grow the biggest sprout ever? 😄
