The best part about not knowing what the FUCK I'm doing with my music stuff is that I keep messing around with my DAW and end up finding a synth that's just like a golden loot drop to my ears

Latest music is finally out!!! I've been sitting on these tracks for a while but I finally got around to putting them into an album. It's not super impressive or nothing but hey no AI bullshit and it will remind you of the GOOD seasons of Stranger Things. sushinebula.bandcamp.com/album/the-ha...

I kept getting a lot of short videos lately about TTRPGs and there was this one where this guy was talking about like DM shortages and stuff speaking as a forever DM of 5 years, y'all should really just try to DM. Benefits include using all those PCs you made as NPCs in your game.

Sushi @sushinebula.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

It was bad but only half because "it's been hyped up too long, it'll never be a masterpiece!" no, it was just bad. just straight up not good. Buggy, poorly written, crap pacing, just... ugh. Wasted my time on it but at least I have closure.

As much as I'm excited for The Long Dark's story mode to finally be finished I just gotta say, part of me thinks it's a HL3 situation where no matter what the hell happens in the story I'm gonna be disappointed because it's been worked on for like 10 years and there's too much shit to do

Sushi @sushinebula.bsky.social · 16/03/2026

I bitch about not having money a lot but this time is pretty serious, my family's little dog Princess went in for a basic surgery to get her fixed to prevent health problems later in her life but the vet botched the surgery and we had to take her in for an emergency visit another town over.

currently dealing with a scheduling issue on my main WoD game that's been going on for years and it's just that scene from stranger things 5 "IF THE PLAYERS AND I CAN'T SORT THIS OUT YOU'RE GONNA DIE AND I CAN'T DEAL WITH IT AGAIN, NOT YOU, PLEASE" like this isn't a bit my ass is grieving rn

This year sucks so far but I think a nice ray of sunshine is how Steam keeps pulling the weirdest sales out of their ass like Typing fest and now this Horse fest like can this be their thing for the year? Can we get Cafe fest or War Criminal fest this year? I would spend truck loads on the latter.

Happy holidays and a happy new year! I'm personally sulking because my cool uncle didn't show up to the party but I did eat a lot of pork fried rice so really it went pretty good!

I had originally made a post on here that was like, really angry that Expedition 33 won a shitton of awards and has been generally getting critical acclaim but after hearing a few friends of mine actually really enjoyed it I decided to take that down because the game probably doesn't deserve it?

One of my favorite ragebait tactics is to call the band Rise Against "discount Rage Against The Machine" It's not even remotely true but they share one word and have a similar first word so my boyfriend gets really pissed off because it's like, bordering on me just being fucking stupid lmao

Not trying to defend genAI but seeing AA studios be like "uhhhh okay we used it for concept art but that's it, we have actual artists, it was their call" is kind of reassuring compared to companies like activision saying "we used ai to make some assets" like... can you tell us? are you ABLE to?

I keep watching Zack D Films shorts are they're so great because one will be like "a mcflurry spoon is actually spun like a drill before being served to you with the spoon detached" and then 3 videos later it's "they committed atrocities so unspeakable they invented five words"

Sushi @sushinebula.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

Also while I'm here can someone tell me if VtM bloodlines 2 is good, I know it's not like a proper sequel to the original bloodlines but someone said it was like dishonored gameplay in the VtM universe and I would not be unhappy with that

Sushi @sushinebula.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

Finally ACTUALLY working on a song again, in terms of progress I got to the 29th... whatever these things are called. I should probably figure out more about music before making music. Eh. Those chord bits are "choir ahs" btw, so this is going to be a very interesting/silly song

I'm replaying TLOU1 because I'm a basic bitch, who the hell decided to add the environmental storytelling that some poor dude in the boston mall got a prize RIGHT as the infection was happening??? also it's been 20 years how is this thing still there? this is my Nope shoe like how the fuck did this

preparing for a trip with my partner by like, going outside and stuff. that scene in The Long Walk where they have to go up a hill is what it feels like for my slothful ass to take a trip to the gas station like not even a thousand steps from my house

Sushi @sushinebula.bsky.social · 22/09/2025

A certain space station 14 server community I was a part of just shut down and I haven't felt this sad in a while. Its such a genuine sadness, not that passing feeling you get after watching a movie, this is like bordering on, if not just actual grief.

Sushi @sushinebula.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

I haven't streamed in nearly two months, I keep asking myself if I should go back to it. Is it really what I want? Is it really who I wanna be known as? etc. I think I'd rather be known as a musical artist, but it's way further out of my skillset, and I'm not sure which I have a greater passion for.

Sushi @sushinebula.bsky.social · 02/09/2025

Someone, not naming who because it would be mean (and I only follow them on my NSFW lol) posted their band camp that had like 200 or so songs I think and I had one of those "Oh I have until x age to do y thing or I'm just a failure, I need to make more music tbh

Sushi @sushinebula.bsky.social · 16/08/2025

Really, really split on whether I get back into streaming. Growth's been s l o w even with posting clips and stuff, just might not be for me. Add onto the fact my ol' reliable DBD is getting shit and the new ads, I'm really hesitant to get back on the saddle. Also hi it's me again!

To all the WoD fans out there wanting to learn Mage20, I implore you to pay someone else to teach you it. I've been trying to learn just small parts of the system for a werewolf game I'm running and it's still too much. It's fun to cast spells but not worth the years you'd need to dedicate for it.
