I can work out the proportion so people can set up a canvas with the right ratio, that might work? Also as there is a chicken theme to the art it would work!

Thankyou everyone who filled out the submission form volunteering art for the project. I want to cap the project at 30 cards/artists as that's probably the most I feel comfortable organising but there have been 128 submissions in 24 hours! I am happy so many people would volunteer time for this 😭

Very few people have chicken art in their portfolios, it's not a problem as long as you feel you COULD draw a chicken if need be!

I want to make a charity booster pack of artist trading cards but would you prefer a set of five cards all from the same artist or a mix of artists in one pack? It would be chicken based and the recipient would be the British hen welfare trust.

I didn't realise that could happen. I'll have to test other sheets from the same batch

It's probably a little old, I bulk buy it when it's on offer but I dont remember how long it's been. I didn't know it degrades 😢

My normally reliable arches paper has gone very weird when wetted today? What's up with that?

A sketch on watercolour paper. The paper has a spotted uneven surface.

Mini-prints+sticker– @sushiartstudio.bsky.social Really beautiful work, another illustrator I really looked at closely for the 1st time this CFz, v sensitive use of pencil crayons. Super impressed by her compositions, full of motion, light+detail w/o losing legibility or a sense of emotional content

Photo of a large sticker and two gold-bordered mini prints by SushiArtStudio, one print shows a sabre-toothed feline draconic creature coiled beneath the surface of a pond surrounded by fish and water lilies, while the other print and the sticker are different illustrations of a red fox pulling the strings of carp-shaped kites, accompanied by a much larger white fox in the print.

🪶 Tea party crows 🐦‍⬛

Crows and baby crows are enjoying a tea party. There are delicious-looking desserts and black tea. The surroundings are decorated with ribbons and roses. The atmosphere is sparkly, peaceful, and happy.
