There's only one set of working car park lifts in the country. They're secretly moved between car parks at the dead of night, and used or a few weeks, until it's time to move to the next car park on the circuit, and the "Out of Order - Awaiting Parts" sign is hung out for another few years.

The new 6:30 comedy Radio on Friday is also dire. Me and a friend do a similar sort of show on our local community radio, with weird and funny stuff from the news. It's three times longer, we've no budget, only ourselves as producers and and presenters, and I think we're not bad in comparison.

If you've not seen it there's also Dark City (dir. Alex Proyas) , which was also eclipsed by the Matrix: a man whose memory's been tampered with wakes up in an Noirish City where it's always night, and where the city rearranges itself every night. Arguably a better film than the Matrix.
