I watched a MAGA woman being interviewed. She supports drumpf, in spite of all the overwhelming problems he causes, because "you don't know that we wouldn't have the same problems with another President". You really cannot get past the incredible stupidity.

Senator Tillis is wrong: the name of the game is NOT to give the President whoever he wants as a Cabinet member, but to be certain he's hiring the best possible advisers. That obligation was ignored the last time, so drumpf is never corrected.

Matthew Shephard's parents were offered a secure site within the National Cathedral in Washington for Matthew's final resting place. I went to school there and I know there are many places within the Cathedral that are extremely secure and hidden away, and I love knowing that.

I thought 2 weeks at home with the flu for Talarico seemed like a lot, but I then heard that he is diabetic and his doctor told him he had to do it or he was going to continue on being not entirely well. So he did. Makes great sense to me.

I had a benefit to being sick as a kid: my mother always put me to bed, but if I were sick, my dad came up to say good night. I recited the prayer he taught us, and all was right with the world.

I worked for the US's best vascular surgeon for a short while, and I recall the time he was chatting about stroke with me (no idea why). He said there was basically no such thing as one stroke, or even one TIA. That stroke was a disease and meant there would be another soon. It keeps me going.
