I haven’t ridden my ebike in months bc it had a battery issue. Fully charged, it still wouldn’t turn on. Not wanting to spend $1200 I went analog. Today I said it was time to bring it for repair. Checked battery again and miraculously it came back to life!! I’m so chuffed. BRB going riding! 💨 🥹

I did it. I put on a pretty dress and went for a walk. I stayed on the sunny side of the streets and walked along Queen St. up Spadina and into the market and back. I was out for 2 hours! I actually left my apartment and enjoyed the day. I felt so good I even bought vitamins along the way 😇

I misjudged my clearance and clipped a guy’s side mirror w/ my bike one time. I felt so bad. I gave him my name and number. He was young and it was his dad’s car. He sent an estimate for $150 to repair which seemed fair (idk about cars). Money was tight but I felt good paying that debt right away.

I just tried lentil soup from a Turkish place the other day and it was way so good. I had not heard of lentils as soup before and the owner practically forced me to try it. Thank goodness for living in a city with diverse cuisine

Absolutely this. When I think back to my childhood all the signs were there but I was in my late 20s before I started to put 2 + 2 together. Well after my community was already predominantly LGBTQ. I felt so stupid that I didn’t know and oddly no one else suspected either 🤦🏽‍♀️

Broke a nail, lost a $50 bill from my pocket, and my bike seat got stolen, but I don’t care because I’m 2 days away from my trip to Aruba. I’m gonna have to wrap myself in bubble wrap for the next 45 hours until I get on that plane! 🤞🏽🏝️

Just finished my nail appointment where I had a direct view of my double locked, battery-removed ebike from the window. I’ve had 3 friends this past week, have their bikes stolen. The guys had angle grinders and they were locked on busy streets but no one spoke up or tried to stop them 🫩

I’m so proud of the Air Canada crew defying the govt and continuing the strike! I have travel plans booked for next month and they could be affected but so be it. If they’re so essential then pay them like they are! I can’t believe they went this long not being paid for work outside of the flight.
