Raised a complaint about this. They agree that the service was appalling and I’m getting £75 compensation.

When you requested roadside assistance, you experienced a wait before a Patrol arrived to inspect your vehicle. We always aim to attend as quickly as we can, and I'm sorry that we couldn't reach you sooner on this occasion.

Looking into your contact with us, our team promised you an escalation callback that wasn't logged or completed, and your request to speak with a manager for an arrival update wasn't fulfilled. We should've kept you better informed and called you back as agreed. Please be assured that feedback will be provided to the relevant team regarding this matter.

Furthermore, while you were waiting for assistance, you received automated text updates attempting to defer your breakdown to the following day. I recognise how frustrating this was, particularly as you'd been waiting throughout the day. We could've communicated better and ensured our updates accurately reflected your situation.

Having reviewed all aspects, I've upheld your complaint. As a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience and distress caused, we will be issuing you a cheque for £75. You should receive this within 10 days.

Logged a call out with RAC at 11.10 this morning as the brake pedal goes straight to the floor on the roadster. The time keeps getting further and further away. Started at 3pm, then to 12:50, and now it is ridiculously 5:20pm at the earliest! Just as well I’m in no rush to get it seen to

The communal bin stores are the bane of my life! The council don’t collect bins as they’re too far away from where they can stop, so our factor is supposed to arrange for someone to take them out to the street to be collected. Our factors are useless and have thankfully been voted out recently
