this one is far more arcady than the heavier feeling Sumo Digital developed games. it also helps that they just permanently reduced the base game’s price to $40 and you don’t have to buy all the DLC together if you really just want Godzilla

can’t add much on the voice acting tho, that’s 100% personal taste and more power to ya i personally enjoy most of the current VA’s for the cast (with some major Celebrity exceptions in the case of Ronda in MK11 and Megan Fox in 1)

granted, with the sole exception of X. at least all of the modern MK’s still have a “goofier” finisher like the classic games (although on the other hand, Friendships in 11 and Animality’s in 1 were post launch updates). in case you ever need a break from the brutality of the main finishers

technically you don’t even need the cheat on repeat playthrough’s if you use NG+ so long as you use a save that has it unlocked or a Final Horizon save since the spin dash is mandatory for it

if it means anything, it’s not as noticeable when setting my receiver to Multi-Stereo (which i probably should do anyway given Youtube doesn’t really support 5.1 surround) and i reckon most people probably aren’t going to be watching the video on a surround setup anyway.

the only thing i can’t really get behind with any of the Xbox One’s is how absurdly slow it is just to boot up the damn console in my experience otherwise i mostly use my Series X for 4K Blu-Ray’s nowadays and even then both the One S and One X can do that too

i am the opposite in this case. had the game matched the quality of the first two worlds maybe i’d agree (still doesn’t change the fact the 3DS game has probably the worst Special Stages i’ve ever played in a Sonic game)
