so Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave gives you the option to Chrono Trigger-style skip right to the final boss battle(s) Of course said fight is unwinnable, but at least when Chrono Trigger did it you had the option to grind out levels to have a better shot at winning regardless

The one thing that I took particular notice of in Resonance is that when you recruit one of the Visions from the numbered FFs, they actually spoil a little bit of the story of their game?? Keep that in mind if you haven't played / don't know the major story beats of any of FF1-16

000

Super𝐈chi™ @superichi.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

played the Final Fantasy Resonance demo Fun combat, huge build potential, fun nods to plots of different FFs GORGEOUS visuals, love the clever blend of HD-2D / 3D This truly feels like the refinement of the idea that Octopath Traveler started

Knights of Fiona is fun so far Going for a timid noble machinist build using a bow with Auto Turret and a spear/greatshield combo as secondary weapons so basically FF6 Edgar lol

Super𝐈chi™ @superichi.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Second criticism on Sovereign Tower Knights dying is such a glossed-over occurrence lacking any on-screen drama or gravitas. The coffin slides up behind their sprite in a 1s animation and there's an audience with whoever the next day. That's it?? MY FRIEND DIED! #SovereignTower
