I don't hate him (although maybe I should) but this is another amazing case of wrestler brain. Oh and fuck Konnan by the way.

Look, I love Rey Mysterio and the things he has done for lucha libre in the US. I would call him one of the greats. However, his continued work with a company that not only clearly doesn't give exactly one fuck about lucha libre but is also trying to tear it down and replace it is some nasty work.

Need Dodger bats to wake up right now.

Watching the playoffs on the Fox Sports website means having to see this fucking novig commercial every break in the action.🙃

Importing my 2024/25 playoff post from Twitter: Tuxedo Sam says 'Doyers'

Comic, video game and wrestling fans when a mainstream pub parachutes in with a thinkpiece: "Boy, I sure bet this sucks!" (It's plenty of other interests/subcultures as well, I know)

Paul @superfx.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Could be a hard series depending on which version of the Dodgers takes the field on Saturday, but they *should* be able to take it.

Oh god I just realized that So Jealous is 22 years old now and I'm really trying to not freak out.

Not only was PAC a phenomenal wrestler, he also made WWE blink after he walked out on the promotion. This was before AEW, there was no guarantee he would see television or that level of money ever again. Instead, he just went back to the indies and Dragon Gate. Fucking legend 🫡

I have told more men (and women) that I love them this month than I ever have before. This has been a truly horrible month, but you have to push forward and make it a better place then it was yesterday.

Getting a US work visa was one of the most difficult hurdles for my pro wrestling journey. I’ve been scratching my head for years on how I could help others with theirs The solution was surprisingly to build a very popular Canadian based wrestling promotion and throw A LOT of money at the problem.

This to say so far the second half of this double album is much more enjoyable to me than the first.

I wish that Carly Rae had stuck with synth and drum machines for the majority of her music, personally.

Paul @superfx.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

The first one holds up extremely well, and the other two are at least decently fun.

Paul @superfx.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Why yes, I would like to see Mercedes vs Mei Suruga if that's possible.

This machine is killing me.

Really great night for Rea, I was really impressed by her work even if she didn't end up winning the Dream Star in the end.

Really thought Tony was gonna say "Will Andrade take his pants off?" when they went to commercial. 😅

Thought Zayda vs Thekla was good, nice to see Thekla give her so much.

Beautiful stuff, man. The world is a cold place, the best we can do is try to warm it up a little bit.

Yeah, I really liked Progress from like 2014/15-2018 but I don't think I could really enjoy going back to it now.

Paul @superfx.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

If you add in old Progress shows it shoots to almost 50%, I swear 🥴

Honestly, I'm roughly in about the place I would have mostly assumed I'd be in today. The journey getting here wasn't exactly expected (side quest to CA) but if anything I'd probably be moderately impressed that I've learned to deal with my anger better.

It would make sense in NJPW lore, he is the only junior in the match after all.

Akira is probably the leasy geeky, but he has big Scrappy Doo energy sometimes.

Watched The Man Who Fell to Earth earlier tonight at a local theater and, I dunno, I think I liked about half of it and the rest felt like a muddled mess. Bowie basically has my build in the film tho, which is weird to see someone as thin as I am in a motion picture (even if it was the 1970s).

Paul @superfx.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Nothing against Callum, but his United Empire is the biggest collection of dorks (and Henare) that I've seen in quite a while.
