JRR Tolkien: You paint that picture of the key scene from the Two Towers where Frodo and Sam fight Gollum? Donato Giancola: Sure did, Ron, real fuckin' sexy just like you asked. JRRT: What.

"Why are you holding up?" Bruh, I picked Viper so I wouldn't have to obey the rules.

Droptimals, but for oki. LK burnkick is usually -2, but because of the air reset, it ended up hitting late and being plus.

I've been labbing spacing traps to see what sort of feint pressure I can get away with while also auto punishing counter mashing. I can space outside of most shoto cr.MKs except Terry and Ryu which pisses me off.

I do think it's real ballsy of Capcom to give Ryu a Fafnir that nobody else has.

I really need to hangout in the Battle Hub more like I used to. Just finished a very difficult FT10 with a random guy and then he added me and messaged about playing more later to practice against Viper. Capcom made a real good thing here.

Finished SH Townfall. 6/10 game. It was eh. The writing was great, the acting was also great, but the game was surgically designed to be very one dimensional and even boring at times. There are 4 total enemies in the entire game and the don't change behavior for the ENTIRE game.

One of the hardest things I ever did was complete all of the RE6 campaigns last year. Looking back, holy SHIT was that a slog. You end up playing the same campaign so many times with a slightly different start.

Townfall's story is really good, but their insistence on engaging with really poorly done stealth is just so boring. I find myself just crouch walking around until I find enough bullets to clear the area.

The current discourse is about sticking with the games you do find fun and leaving the ones you don't. You're so right, I do enjoy hitting someone with a 4-way as Seth and pointing at the screen to say "That's footsies"

SH Townfall's combat does unfortunately become really trivial after getting the revolver. It's somewhere between giving just enough bullets to take down all problem enemy placements and also the gun just 2 shotting everything with a huge stagger to lineup shot 2.

So far Townfall has been visually visceral as fuck, but the game itself is not very difficult. The puzzles are decent though. I just have a funny feeling that the combat that is going to find a way to trivialize itself eventually.
