I see the misinformation machine is kicking up to support Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Israel amendment. Advocates have a responsibility to be clear about what legislation does and doesn’t do. Her amendment did NOT cut off offensive aid to Israel. We shouldn’t pretend it does. My statement on it:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s statement:

Marjorie Taylor Greene's amendment does nothing to cut off offensive aid to Israel nor end the flow of US munitions being used in Gaza. Of course I voted against it.
What it does do is cut off defensive Iron Dome capacities while allowing the actual bombs killing Palestinians to continue.
I have long stated that I do not believe that adding to the death count of innocent victims to this war is constructive to its end. That is a simple and clear difference of opinion that has long been established.
I remain focused on cutting the flow of US munitions that are being used to perpetuate the genocide in Gaza.

It’s called hyper-normalization. It’s a dissociative reaction meant to shield you as a safety mechanism, but ultimately helps whatever is attacking you. Think closing your eyes as a train comes rather than jumping out of the way. Fascism will succeed if we continue to hyper normalize its presence.

They tested the effectiveness of the gas on the disabled. They encouraged parents to take their disabled kids to appointments to get medicine. Only to poison the kids. There was a documentary on Prime called Disposable Humanity. I'm disabled I couldn't get through it
