Bout 76k. Actually I can’t claim ignorance that it was on its way out because it starred making supercharger nosies with the clutch in a while ago. But then that stopped making noise—so clearly it fixed itself—and I just ignored it for a while. Oops.

The LC500 tire destruction was heartbreaking but we had a great rest of the day notwithstanding (I think we all are looking into better roadside assistance plans now though! I realized today my regular car insurance doesn’t actually include anything, lol)

Hammer and tongs on one of the greatest stretches of road ever and when I pulled off the pedal went to the floor 😆 But I drove it home - clutch works but the dead TOB is making it drag so it’s drivable but probably not super healthy to drive EXCEPT on the freeway right now.

Oh no it’s another thread and another DIGNITY SPRAY on the way into town… followed by a high-risk late-night glass cleaning

Spraying the car at a dingy pay n spray car wash that cost $1.75, quarters only, and didn’t offer a countdown timer but went for a really long time! I only had to restart it once.

Clean-seeming (but not really clean) car in front of LIQUOR EXPRESS because I need a treat after that long drive

Windshield glass that looks very clear right now but boy I’m gonna see the streaks in the cold light of the day
