Having had the privilege to know Eugenia for 20 years, her obsession with horror characters is absolutely certified, and it seriously pays off in the latest Silent Hill. Congratulations!

It was an huge honour for me to contribute to the @konamina.bsky.social 's Silent Hill IP and nonetheless with a stellar team like the one at Screen Burn Interactive. It almost feels like a privilege to ship these days in the industry and I was lucky to get to do it with some incredible people.

Silent Hill Fife getting solid reviews is nice to see. The horrors of the east coast truly resonate across the globe.

A system is what it does. And UKIE - which is angling for investment funds from the UK gov - is signaling through its leadership that the “industry” they represent is hostile to workers.

To paraphrase a friend: stay on the path, make good things. Indie has always flourished in the face of AAA distraction. Times are bad, but let others deskill, pivot to nonsense or chase impossible outcomes. People really like playing videogames. Suits forget that every 6 months or so.

Love this from Guillermo del Toro

“Be kind, be involved, believe in your art,” he said. “At a time when people tell you art is not important, that is always the prelude to fascism. When they tell you it doesn’t matter, when they tell you a fucking app can do art you say, if it’s that important, why the fuck do they want it so bad? The answer is because they think they can debase everything that makes us a little better, a little more human. And that, in my book, and in my life, includes monsters.”
