Thank you to @cdprojektred.com for The Witcher 3 Remastered code on Switch 2. I've never played The Witcher 3, but I love the show, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of my favorite games of all-time, and The Blood of Dawnwalker is my personal GOTY so far. I think I'm in for a true adventure!

Spider-Man Brand New Day was soooooo good, I absolutely loved everything about it. Top 3 MCU movie for me I think. Winter Soldier and Infinity War will be hard to top, but it's close.

I've officially reached 1,000 physical video games in my collection! I decided to mark the occasion with a CIB copy of the original Phantasy Star for Sega Master System, one of my favorite game franchises of all time. The box isn't super clean, but I got a GREAT deal so it felt appropriate.

Watched The Backrooms with my wife and son tonight. It was pretty good, he knew a lot of the lore already from YouTube naturally. Very creepy and unsettling, but honestly kind of surprised it was even rated R.

One is a game I've had my eye on since it came out, and the other is a retro game I basically only grabbed because it was CIB and very cheap. The game itself kinda sucks 😅

Two latest additions to the collection! After removing a few I sold, this puts me at 997 physical games. Cruis'n Blast is a great example of why physical media matters. Just recently the game was removed from the Switch eShop without warning.

Splatoon 2's solo campaign, Octo Canyon, is pretty solid so far. Just finished up the first boss and first zone. The creativity with the game mechanics and surprisingly dynamic levels is good, fast-paced fun.

Donkey Kong Bananza finished! Honestly? Didn't love it. The first half is very repetitive, the middle bits were tedious, but the last few hours were fantastic to me. Overall, it's probably my least favorite Donkey Kong game. I'd probably give it a 7/10 personally.

Thank you to Owlcat Games for the Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader code on Switch 2! The game has lots of recent updates, and they've even made ALL current and future DLC (even story expansions) entirely free on SW2. I love CRPGs but know very little about Warhammer. Intrigued by this one!

Shout out to Bandai Namco for the Echoes of Aincrad code, I may check this one out tonight and see what it's like. I enjoyed the first couple seasons of the SAO anime, but I don't think I've played an SAO game I particularly liked much. We shall see!

Compared to other recent AC games I've tried, I can just focus on the main story if I want in Black Flag Resynced. Lots to do and see if I want it, but I can also just ignore most of it. And I'm pretty invested already after ~3 hours. No XP grinding and no level gated content.
