ICE just chased everyone off the public road by the Broadview facility. They yelled for people to move and immediately began firing gas into the crowd, which included legal observers, press, and medics.

Most (56%) Black people in the United States live in “the South.” With all we know of the racism built into America’s justice system (“War on Drugs,” policing, prosecution, incarceration, etc), it’s no surprise a map of INCARCERATION RATES BY STATE looks like this. Caging Black people is the point.
