Publication day is here! Wendy Waring’s THE HUNGER OF THOSE WHO BUILT IT is now available everywhere books are sold. Good Reading calls it “seductively spellbinding” and declares, “Debuts aren’t supposed to be this good.” We couldn’t agree more.

Beside the orange, teal and purple cover of Wendy Waring’s The Hunger of Those Who Built It is a review quote: “Waring has the unique ability to imagine a world so precisely, so believably, that it would be a surprise if it didn’t materialise. Waring’s seductively spellbinding writing comes from the blending of intellect, imagination and formidable talent. This is the work of a seasoned writer… Debuts aren’t supposed to be this good.” — Good Reading magazine. Below are the Stelliform Press logo and the words “Now available everywhere books are sold.”

The Wetworks Miracle is out next week! It's a quick and brutal read, a delightful mix of weird horror, biopunk, and portal fantasy. If you're curious about one of the weirdest books we've ever published, check out this review from Chasing Shadows: catchingshadows67297...
Promotional graphic for Caleb Sierra’s THE WETWORKS MIRACLE. The green illustrated cover shows a strange furred creature with multiple arms holding a book, quill and other objects. Above is the review site name Catching Shadows (a wicked convergence of circumstances). Review excerpt: “The anti-colonial and anti-capitalism themes show up from the beginning. The colony are the descendants of refugees from a world they actively used up and destroyed. ... Their current religion is based on a transactional relationship with god, where the priests are literally accountants, and everyone is essentially indentured to god (and also, the state). ... This book is excellent and absolutely brutal ... if you are a fan of body horror, weird fiction ... then this is definitely the book for you.” Text below: “This weird horror is coming July 30. Order now from your favorite indie bookstore.” Stelliform Press logo.

Just wanted to share bits of THE WETWORKS MIRACLE'S many 5-star reviews. I couldn't fit them all on this graphic. If you're a horror reviewer, don't sleep on this book! and please help us get the word out - it's an incredible first book by a brand new Latino author. www.netgalley.com/ca...
Five-Star reviews for Caleb Sierra's THE WETWORKS MIRACLE.
“This was… strange, disorienting, horrifying. Incredibly vivid imagery that forced me to make faces at my ereader at times (which is very good!).”
“This book has wildly inventive world building and unique characters ...it is so unique in a sea of repetition.”
“The twist ending, wow!”
“This book takes the reclamation of nature in the wake of catastrophe and gives it heart and soul, quite literally, in this multi-pov mind-bending tale set in a fantastically complex, yet clear world.”
“This book was a very fast read, but it was several days before I could get my wits together enough to write the review.”
“The Wetworks Miracle is a gorgeous blend of eco and body horror, sentient plant matter, and heresy of a religion already bastardized through some convoluted game of interstellar telephone. We've hit on so many of my favorite tropes, I feel like I've been given a gift.”

Book Review: The Wetworks Miracle, by Caleb Sierra
Fun Fact: this book was a very fast read, but it was several days before I could get my wits together enough to write the review. The reason? It’s probably the creepiest and most grotesque horror novel I’ve ever read. (And I say this, having read the original short story by Steven King that became the movie Children of the Corn.

Shoutout to Cynthia Gómez for these wonderful words about THE WILDCRAFT DRONES. "These stories challenge us by showing us the logical conclusion of late-stage capitalism – spiraling natural disasters, a mushrooming police state – but they also show the endless promise of resistance and hope."

"T.K. Rex’s gentle prose is dense with sly humor, sharp metaphor, and an abiding love for the natural world. These stories challenge us by showing us the logical conclusion of late-stage capitalism – spiraling natural disasters, a mushrooming police state – but they also show the endless promise of resistance and hope, of love and lust, of rewilding and regrowth. These characters – both human and adorable drone – will stay with you long after you’ve finished reading (and re-reading) this visionary book."

For the past 2 years, her identity has been wrapped up in being one half of a pair. Lost, confused, and still in love with her ex, she's willing to do whatever it takes to get over him.

Xavier Herrera has no time for relationships. He's determined to make fire captain in the next five years, and he can't afford any distractions. Let alone one that will force him to reevaluate what he's willing to sacrifice to save others.

But neither of them can deny the insane chemistry between them. Desperate to forget about her ex, Kira suggests a solution for their problems: free reign to explore their physical connection with no expectations. After all, the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else... Right?

Friends with benefits to loversA bead of sweat trails down my forehead as I walk towards the door. What in the world could be so urgent at four pm on a Monday? I have half a mind to chew out whoever’s on the other side of that door. Probably more missionaries trying to convince me to join their church or some salesman peddling insurance I have no need for.

I throw the door open with a bag, my protest already on my lips. “No, I have no interest in accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and– Kira?”
The sight of her makes me freeze. She looks so put together that I’m suddenly embarrassed to be greeting her in sweats and a tank top. Her blonde waves are pulled up in a well-styled bun, held together by a carefully positioned clip. I have the irrational urge to get rid of that stupid clip and wrap her hair around my fist instead. God, what the hell is it about this girl? Okay, it definitely doesn’t hurt that her short pumps and navy pencil skirt are making her legs look fantastic, but I completely forget how to function around her.

She offers me a hesitant smile. “I was considering converting to Satanism myself.”

“And you need me to do what? Be a willing sacrifice?”

Kira’s blue eyes roam my body as I invite her into the apartment. “That wouldn’t work, they usually want virgins.”

The image shows a man with long dark hair, casually seated against the corner of the frame.

Text:
In the twenty years since the vampires rose up out of the earth, Corado hasn’t done too bad for himself. He’s still alive, for one, and he’s got a lucrative trade as a nightrunner smuggling people beneath the vampiric horde that blots out the sky each night. It's dangerous work, but enough to get a roof over his head and a bottle in his hand at the end of the day. That’s pretty good for life under the vampires.

Then an attack from the horde leaves him stuck in the desert, alone with a newly-orphaned boy, and his luck finally dries up. He resolves to find what remains of the boy’s family and put it all behind him—but instead of taking him off Corado’s hands, his so-called “family” offers a new deal: escort them to the vampiric capital in exchange for a veritable fortune.

Corado knows he shouldn’t. It’s a long, dangerous route, and the group has a smack of sedition to them that he knows firsthand to be a quick way to a bloody death.

It is a hell of a lot of money, though.
