For US labor laws aren't needed if it's autonomous, can drive 24/7. Safety doesn't apply to the mega corps. if there's protests then you're called anti American antifa etc and they'd set ICE goons on you cuz you can't be against the oligarchs.

A few yrs ago I read an article on robots in Japan: they don't need heating minimal light no wages nor benefits and can shut down for weeks when demand stops and ramp back up. $avings for the company. Works for places with zero or negative pop growth (p2025??).

I don't know how true this is but I've seen on IG that Tesla's are ramping up ev semis that are autonomous. You can see where this is going. Only a few big players for trucking and none using fuel.
