Initially I thought Kao (Kao Group)’s Bioré UV Aqua Rich Light Up Essence was just going to have the Fresh Pouch added to its line-up, but as it turns out, this one has been reformulated, too. Released Feb 8, 2025 as indicated on this banner from the official website. Details below 🧵

According to Rohto Pharmaceutical’s page for their Skin Aqua Tone-Up UV line, they’ve released Skin Aqua Tone-Up UV Stick: Lavender (スキンアクアトーンアップUVスティックラベンダー) as a limited edition product. (I’m guessing probably on Jan 29 with everything else.) Details TBC. jp.rohto.com/skin-aqua/to...

It’s in a white tube with a lavender-colored cap, what looks to be a linear design with a dark pink to blue gradient, and text in a magenta-ish purple.

According to their official website, Kao (Kao Group)’s Sofina Beauté will be discontinuing all six of their moisturizers with SPF as of Jan 31, 2025. (Reminder that discontinued products are often still available for a while afterward if stores still have them in stock.) www.sofina.co.jp/beaute/

Image of all six products, three in the regular line that are regulated as cosmetics and three in the brightening line that are regulated as quasi-drugs. All six were released in 2016 in Japan. I don’t know what their official names in English are, but the products that appear to be their counterparts in Singapore are named as follows:

Kosé Cosmeport (Kosé Group) will be launching three products on Feb 3, 2024: Two new “Multi Vitamin” products—a sunscreen essence and a “mist” or non-aerosol spray—and a reformulated version of their existing mist. Details below 🧵

The three products in their outer packaging. The “Multi Vitamin” products have yellow as a theme color and a large motif based on the letter C, although they’re advertised to contain vitamins and vitamin derivatives other than that of Vitamin C. The reformulated version of Suncut UV Protect Mist is mainly blue. The Multi Vitamin sunscreen essence is in a tube with a flip-top cap, and both mists are in non-aerosol spray bottles.
