Oh yeah I should probably update people on here that the Volvo is once again broken and I have since borrowed a STUPID chud MK3 focus that I hate. With the weather coming up next week too I don't want to work and I can't even crash it into a tree and die as it has actual safety features. mental

I wasn't injured at all somehow, upset me a lot though as it's my first car that I've had since I was doing my lessons. earlier down the road the guy was definitely distracted or drunk, going about 27 in a 40 and slamming his brakes on outside random houses. drove off as soon as the police arrived

oh a 1.4 106 xsi, yes please still looking for half a 1.4 xsi interior annoyingly later XSIs had a 1.6, still making the same 100hp (all you need in something so light), which is basically the same lump that'd then come in the saxo VTR and S2 106 rallye

the PI used a wiper motor as a fuel pump which was generally the cause of every single breakdown they'd have. Can retrofit a better alternative but I'd rather spend less money and buy a carb'd 2500S. can always fit bigger carbs or more to make up for the performance difference

don't understand the anti-cash mentality no electronics to rely on, so it can't go down. the number of places with remote card readers that say 'it'll take a while, the signal is bad' is funny. you don't need any signal for cash. more privacy, no banks looking at what you do plus it's legal tender

windy windows are technically superior as you can open and close the windows without having to turn the car on :^) also, if the car is one that has sat for a while, you can tell if the mechanism is any good, whereas an electric one will just power through any stiffness and break something !

have this style on the dolly, assuming they're original. if not, they were replaced when the car was young as they do look quite knackered. toyed with the idea of black plates as the dolly was meant to have them, but the car is B+W enough already
