Honestly if someone had told me as a kid that if nothing else worked (and we DID try absolutely everything) I could punch someone, I probably would have had a much easier time in school. 🤷🏼 But yeah, adults generally don't handle bullies. A lot of the time the adults WERE my bullies.

Nothing will ever make me hate the rest of the series, but the 2nd 1/2 season 5 of Warehouse 13 doesn't exist. They took my man Pete's character out back and shot it, then went for Myka. 4.5 seasons of their relationship being distinctly brother/sister murdered in broad daylight. & poor Claudia.

Ugh, The Umbrella Academy. That made me SO mad. It was so terrible. It didn't even make sense while destroying the other seasons' characterizations. Making fun of that brother for being a germaphobe during covid was a Choice. (To be clear I'm cool with the trans brother, that was well done.)

My big series is well over 2 million words long. It took 10 years to draft. 13 books. I added them up several times and was like, that can't be right there are too many commas here. I'm fairly sure I can submit that as the entirety of an autism assessment. ...And possibly a few other diagnoses😆

I like nature pins, particularly bugs and frogs, writing things, autism things, and other assorted shiny things. Not a big fan of rhinestones, though. Here's some of my other hat pins. I'm working on adding more colorful hats to my collection, so I require more pins!

I recently dyed a hat very neon pink (it's brighter in person). Now I need more pins. I usually get my pins from antique stores but haven't been able to get out as much lately. I don't want mass produced ones. If you make pins (or clean up & sell antique ones) could you drop a link and/or photos?

-for me too. Not because the stories are simpler, they often aren't, but I recently realized it takes effort to follow life action stuff that cartoons don't, particularly when I'm brain foggy. Less visual noise & I don't have to fight the face blindness.

I have a hard time with any sort of flashing lights too. I have to cover my eyes, not just look away. I can't do any sort of video game where the camera follows the player, the motion yeets me directly into hell. I love cartoons, though. I'm fine with most cartoons. They take way less mental effort-

Oh that's unfortunate. I just discovered last night that if I watch TV with super migraine prevention sunglasses on I don't get my traditional more-than-one-show migraine. If anything spins in tv it breaks my brain, but my motion sickness isn't as bad as it was. But I know what you're talking about.

I used to be a book a day kid. I have a great memory for stories at least, so I still have them to draw on, and I watch a lot of stories via tv. But it sucks so much. It's particularly annoying because almost no one believes me. "Can't you just-" No. Trust me if I could "just", I would have.

I can't read things either. My eyeballs/brain are broken in a way doctors can't fix and I simply can't physically read text that small. I have to make text HUGE on my computer to write & still get migraines editing. Everyone suggests audio books & my audio processing issues are just like 👀.

I just processed a batch today and started a new one. I don't strain mine, I like to keep the pepper chunks, kinda like thick salsa. Also apparently you can use the brine to make spicy salt? This is my first time trying but it smells great. Mix with sea salt and dry in the oven.

I'm allergic to red meat & don't like chicken, so I smoke a lot of things to get flavor on it. It's a good way to make cheaper food taste good. Also if you let a chunk of salmon sit in a 50/50 mix of coarse sea salt & brown sugar over night, rinse it off, then smoke it for a few hours you'll ascend.

Just don't smoke them all or they won't ferment. I don't know if you have a smoker in all your neat kitchen doodads but I use this. I've fit a whole turkey in it. Did have to finish it in the oven though because it only gets so hot. Sorry about the weird alt text the app won't let me see it.

I never even used to eat peppers until I started growing them, now they're a staple. I was surprised there are so many types! I never have enough room to try all I wanted. Since you have so many have you tried fermenting them to make Sriracha? It's super easy and fun and delicious.

I like to wait until my jalapenos turn red since they're sweeter, so I still have a while to wait. I did smoke a good sized bucket of assorted peppers to ferment into hot sauce today though. I usually end up playing frost chicken with the last batch.
