I'm playing Silent Hill: Townfall first. It's pretty rough for me to push through because it's playing with my worst fear of home invasion/hiding from creepy enemies in tight spaces. Actually quit out a few times when things got intense but still trying to hop back in. I wanna know what happens! 👻

I love it when artists are unapologetic about what they like. For example, I see your gallery with your tall buff women and you continue to draw tall buff women. I can see how much you like and enjoy them in your efforts. And you bring others who enjoy the same thing to your boat. That's beautiful.

Finished Land of the Lustrous and it's Fire Punch and Outer Wilds for me all over again. I was not on earth reading this. I was everywhere experiencing an insanely grand, epic HUMAN narrative. It's just so friggin beautiful I have no words. What a blessing it is to have experienced it. I LOVE ART.

Can stories like Drakengard be written anymore in this day and age? It's vile and cruel in every sense of the word but as experienced in fiction it's extremely comforting and cathartic. When everything is sanitized, they don't feel real. When things disturb, it's like a deep part of me was seen.

Aight no more slicing up the canvas and recombining them because of the procreate layer limit. Attempting to color with CSP... it's gonna be a real slow one to figure stuff out but I gotta try.

I gave CSP 4 hours of messing around and documented all the features that could be done in one click that would have taken me ages to do in procreate. For comics CSP is 100% the superior program. The final piece to convert me would be a brush on CSP that fits me perfectly...that I can't find yet.

On the one hand there are people who genuinely express their grievances, on the other it's ragebait AI glazing accounts. Hot take but imo even if you're the former you're essentially giving them free marketing.

I have a rough idea of the ratio of followers I gained from certain fandoms from 0. On twitter it's about: ~55% from hoyo stuff ~35% from Nightreign ~10% for all the other stuff No wonder why my engagement is skewed as hell💀 (and horrible for people like me with a ton of interests)

I'm not sure what I can say or can't say but I hate and will forever hate AI slop and whatever looks like it. Also why does it feel like game companies keep being compelled to make soulslikes like it's the epitome of gaming...there are so many genres out there to explore and get creative at.

Also Mortal Shell 2 is SO GOOD. So happy they're doing their own thing now by removing the stamina bar and focusing on the action and aggressive combat. Optimization/graphics are amazing and boss designs are insane and creative. Makes me feel like playing a new souls game again 🥰

I essentially gave up on the stupid tail flop panel trying to get it neat and "right" but I learned if I don't know how to draw the thing (for now), I could just rely on the "energy" to carry it. I noticed this a lot in JJK where there are plenty of "messy" scribbles but you actually FEEL it... 🤔

I'm amazed how many new poses I get to draw from doing comics since the narrative demands it. You don't get to run away from drawing it or else it'll lose the impact you intended. Trying out screentones + hatching for the next mini comic. No idea what I'm doing and it's gonna be slow but I have to 💀

I found that in fact, a lot of people are lost and need someone to tell them what to do. Probably why a lot of self help media sell like hot cakes if the seller is convincing enough. Gives me a bad taste in my mouth seeing some "entrepreneurs" getting rich from people's desperation for meaning.

I should keep finding excuses to push my limits just a little further with each piece to force me to draw new things like in the last comic. My brain is fried rn from all the decisions I'd made from paneling to composition/pose/colors etc. It was a huge challenge, and I'm quite satisfied. 👻
