I haven't streamed that much in so long. I honestly have just been going through a lot the last few years and it's been put me in a very strange place. I've just been warhammering to cope tbh

I was looking forward to these death company kitbashes for a very long time. Gotta paint the rims black when I get back home

Thank you!! they're my homebrew blood angel successors I'm calling Essence Forgers! They're some machine worshippers I'm still writing a backstory for, but the theme is basically holy blacksmiths!

I've also been working on these texture mats. Pretty soon I'll have a full 40k size game board! Need to give them some color though.

It's been great finally having the skill to try and bring my homebrew chapter to life

Very happy with how these guys are shaping up

Cookie @sunlitcookie.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

It's almost been a full year since I've painted any of my own Warhammer guys 😭 but I have painted 45 of my friends models on commission I'll post those soon. Here's a judiciar I'm working on.

And then not getting critical information about the project and having to work another 13 hour day to do it asap. I went from no work for 6 months to working through all my weekends for a single month, and that's just the norm for this company. I need better work.

000

Cookie @sunlitcookie.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

I got totally swamped by work this past month but I think it's over. It's really annoying to have 0 work one day then the next day be like "we have a project, it needs to be done now, and it's gunna take you a 13 hour day to do it."

most popular symbol of my friends by far, using others to represent my first 5 battle companies

Cookie @sunlitcookie.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

I've also been making dozens of these bases out of texture rollers and air dry clay. Getting some 3d printed bits to make them pop a bit more, but they're a really nice base to work off of

Cookie @sunlitcookie.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

I've made a couple dozen designs for my homebrew 40k faction based off of existing chapters, and I think I finally have settled on one. It's definitely challenging designing something so small

100

Cookie @sunlitcookie.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

I've been working on my own terrain that's magnetized so i can pack it down to save space and i'm really happy with out it looks. I would love to have a 3D printer and be able to print stuff like this out of my own models, but these texture rollers on clay are working very nice too

000

Cookie @sunlitcookie.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

I'm still really happy with how these turned out, I painted & decorated all the terrain, made the texture mat, painted all these guys, and made all their bases with texture rollers, clay, and paperclips

it's weird learning about touhou in 2026 i feel like im walking through a decaying empire that used to be a kingdom but the small villages are still thriving so no one minds.

3d printing is also kind of crazy. I'm trying to figure out consistent ways to get things printed without having one. Feeding my friend STL's so that he can grow into a big strong printer I can buy things from

When I was gaming he would sometimes peak his head through to check in on me looking all sneaky and silly. I would come up and pet him when he looked for attention at night before he went to sleep. Love you puppy, always looking out for me.
