Is it just me or are touch screen controls for mobile apps more finnicky and prone to error than ever...Used to not have any issues scrolling but now sometimes it'll swap me to another feed instead of going down, tg/discord will have me react to a message when I intend to scroll, etc

but I can't imagine most other people sticking to actually completing all part one routes and coming out of the game not feeling burnt out of it. which is why the game lets you do just one route and go to endgame with it. but I want all the story and I'm patient and a little bit stubborn

At the final chapter of my fourth route....of part one ....and saw the 150 hour notif pop up. I've been way more complete than needed, and this isn't necessarily a complaint as it is still much more enjoyable than my 200+ hours in three houses,

I think it was Dead Space that got me to get over my fear of horror games tbh Dead Space is gross and gory and has well utilized jumpscares but it has amazing atmosphere and isn't hard, the mental block of dread that put me off horror games in general never came on

like sure I could see credits if I stuck to two paths by now probably but nooo I love seeing events from different perspectives and worldbuilding done by filling out different corners of the world with unique characters and situations so this game ends up taking 120+ hours

so I'd very much recommend this to a more casual audience! Only caveat is that this game is in the same world as three houses (different continent & culture), so if you're a lore-head, might be worth looking up a plot synopsis or something of Three Houses beforehand

Thing is, Three Houses can feel like a chore at times with the daily life persona-like segments they added, but FW does a lot to make the free time daily life stuff more decision making oriented than chore-like, so it's a lot more engaging to explore and level up and build supports with characters

FW is honestly (I mean, so far, I haven't gotten into the true endgame yet) really light on the strategy aspects and is piss easy to me on Hard, and this game has a limited turn re-do thing so you can redo stuff if you screw up FW leans way more on the RPG side of things, like Three Houses does

ALSO I'd just like to mention there's something about the coliseum tournament arc framing of part 1 that works so so well with me. Idk I just like it when characters fight each other while striving for something and this game does a great great job of setting that all up

#sfmt2026 102. Forgotten Island Dreamworks did it all: amazing visuals, humorous hijinks, moving emotional character arc, a funny doggy, AND it's filipino in both the mundane and fantastical, this movie is extremely up my alley?? I loved it a Lot Dreamworks kiinda killing it lately

#sfmt2026 101. The Cat Returns A delight for the eyes for cat lovers, and especially in the dapper gentleman that helps out the protag, but the story doesn't do much for me otherwise. Hilarious that the protag's main takeaway seems to be "I am human, but god that cat was handsome"

Only just starting to get to when Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave opens up (and also bouncing between two routes) but soo far it feels like it's either addressed or smoothed over my biggest and most souring detractors from Three Houses and moreover has a more interesting setting and characters
