CW: pet death Crackers passed away tonight. I called him "my son". We'd spent 10 years together, from not long after I'd met my then-girlfriend to now, married for years and with a 4-year-old girl. He was such a sweet, gentle, kind cat, and he will forever live on in my heart.

The Beginning After the End S1 Turns out it's way more intriguing to have the character's past directly contrast to his current path! Having his parents alive and factor heavily as reoccurring characters instead of killing them off for shock value or drama was a big +.

I did a quick campaign on difficulty 4 just to see what Cyberstan looks like. Most times when you go to an Automaton-controlled planet there are land-to-space bombardments, but on Cyberstan there's a full-fledged space battle going on with Super Destroyers vs the Automaton capital ships.

I adore the graph view of Obsidian, and I am so grateful that it also allows me to organize things, cuz with huge projects views like this are incredibly visually dense and hard to really sort through. The color coding is also a lifesaver.

Back in the day I remember a really small, lightweight client for twitter called "DestroyTwitter" and I would love a client like that for Bluesky on linux. I loved the theme of it, it was fast and responsive and small and I could just tuck it away on my desktop. I miss it lol

Getting used to it over Linux Mint and definitely learning more about the distro and how Arch works vs a Debian-based system, since I've only ever used either Ubuntu or Linux Mint. It's fast. Kind of scary fast. I don't even have this thing on an NVME.

I'm not writing in obsidian anymore, but I can't pretend that the graph view of my writing within it doesn't look cool. My favorite part of obsidian. The largest, center-right mass is Atalis.

Elements is like a tagging system with a ton of customization in livingwriter. I organized most of my elements today and put them into separate categories, though I haven't gotten all of them yet. I have a lot of characters and I don't think I've tagged them all yet.

I reached it 1 day early, but I have finished the first draft of "Starstruck Isles", which in retrospect, is a terrible title that has absolutely nothing to do with the novel or the setting. A better title would be "the Sundrinker" but yeah. WOOOO!!! I feel awesome. I did it!
