immediately after taking a screenshot for this thread ive realized his shirt is way way way longer than i thought, and therefore.... i dont have enough fabric. haha........... whatever. here's a pile of his everything except his coat. i'll go out and buy more fabric for his top.... tomorrow

comically put the bow almost exactly 2cm too high. however i actually dont care, because it lowkey looks awesome (and i can satin stitch by hand the vines so it doesnt have gaps) it is EXTREMELY hard to get the hoop on the fabric with both sides having a fuckton of embroidery i can sleep in peace

fake collar. zipper is in the back so there is a seam. ngl it might be kinda tall, i might bring it down

easy win. instead of a fake 2nd layer, i thought the lace would look nicer. i'll still have a proper collar up top, but for the ease to washing hands and doing work at an artist alley... elastic bracelet. it also eliminates the issue of extra bulk in the wrist

i just really like this fabric. im glad i got my hands on it. break today sort of-- nothing of note will happen. i'll likely run one last test when i leave the sewing room. i cant handle the idea of hearing that machine running while i do other work today

for reference: i think if i allowed myself the mercy of the 5ft rule in 2026 it'd be fine. but unfortunately i am picky (stopped the 2nd print midway) you can see that despite changing a billion things the prints are almost identically ugly. which is kind of funny if i didnt want to bash my head in

the tail is already printed, cdras friend printed it (and the horns that i dont have) out... painting/assembly is my job 🙂‍↕️ the files is this, i believe cults3d.com/en/3d-model/...

Skirt and my stress is super high rn. haven't had to embroider anything in pieces before and i am pressed abt it. but i pressed start so no going back now. skirt is 30 pleats abt a cm each. it doesn't go around the whole way (consequence of the fabric choice) but that is ok. it ends right where i-

digitizing the designs given to me by @lycheesnake.bsky.social took a long ass time but they do look good. I still need to digitize her chest panel, but i fear it will also take 6 hours. so I'll wait a bit. also ft. calyx embroidery digitized logo for his lab coat, since i did them all at once

i am replying on both accts sorry LMAO but here u can see the comparison of 3 colors i have. i think the slightly sloppier cuts on the other colors are worth saving my hands (and helps keep all of them super consistent)
