Thank y'all so much for the response to our first Visual Novel!! We've gotten 200+ downloads on Itch. That's pretty amazing for a first release. Analytics don't tell the whole story though. I want to know what y'all's favourite part was!! And if you have any feedback for us. :3c

Got to make this title screen for the Diakko VN by @summernightlights.bsky.social! It was fun to try and match the style Please check out the VN if you haven't yet! summernightlightshow.itch.io/diakko-obliv... #LWA_jp #diakko #yuri

Diana Cavendish sits at a table in the library, blushing, head in her hands. Akko Kagari stands at the table, looking at her expectantly, stars in her eyes.

We're finally ready to share our Diakko Week Fan Visual Novel woohoo!!!! Akko won't stop challenging Diana. Does she really just see her as a rival? Or does she see something else in her? Play it for yourself here! summernightlightshow.itch.io Watch it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDOG...

A stylised cover illustration of Diana sitting in the library with a book in front of her, face covered and blushing. Akko is standing over the table next to her.

A visual novel screenshot. Diana and Akko in the dining hall together. Diana is sitting at a table, Akko is standing next to her table and she says "I've got a spell that I just know is going to impress you!"

A visual novel screenshot. Diana and Akko are in the Courtyard together. Akko has a smug expression on her face, while Diana is casting a spell. There is a huge growth of grass behind them towering over them and escaping the frame to the top. The narration says "With a simple wave of Diana's wand, a large patch of grass engulfes the patch Akko made, and erupts with growth!!"

A visual novel screenshot. Diana is in the library with Hannah and Barbara. Hannah is saying "Who knows why Akko does what she does?"

Hello! just an update: the day 1 story is mostly done, but we're focusing a lot on making systems that will be used in all 7 days eventually. Stuff like the GUI, accessibility settings, etc. Apologies for the quietness lately, but we're still making progress on it!!!

Buggo, SNLS's artist, is opening up some emergency commissions!! sketch: 15USD basic flats: 30USD storybook style rendered: 40USD If you're interested, DM cwbuggo on discord! (or message this account if you don't have discord) Check the screenshot for more details!

A screenshot of a tumblr post by the user cwbuggo including examples that says the following:

hi, opening emergency commissions. way it's gonna work, is base price for a black-and-white mspaint-esque sketch of one full character starts at 15 usd. once you receive it to your liking, you have three options:

1: extra 15 usd for lines and flat colors in my goofy mspaint-esque style

2: extra 25 usd for flat colors and some rendering in a storybook-esque style.

3: keep the sketch as is and do whatever you want with it for nothing extra.

willing to add props and stuff for free, but background details might cost extra. willing to negotiate. i'd probably say an extra 5 usd for more than one character at the sketch level, an extra 10 for mspaint-esque and an extra 20 for storybook-esque.

also willing to settle on a lower price if you dont want to do fullbody

you can look at my tag for examples, but i'll attach some here as well

if interested, please dm me at cwbuggo on discord
