How about the last 12 months of CPI data, showing that while the total CPI is under 4%, energy is 16.3% total, with Fuel oil at 52% and gasoline at 27.4%? Now ask yourself what most of us buy every week and why those particular prices might be contributing to the “vibe” you’re so dismissive about.

The thing about planting seeds is you can only show off your dirt.

Beautiful empty garden beds full of compost and seeds, making it look like I’ve done nothing wrong. Except for the rhubarb in the front bed which is perennial and that boosts my garden spirits until seeds start to germinate.

Hey #fungifriends, can someone identify this big ol fungus that’s been springing up on one flowerbed and the surrounding lawn. The are hard and dry and have stems off to one side. Need I worry about them?

Our little yellow dog loves to take your space on the couch or bed when you leave the room, and I swear she giggles every time when you find her: “Hee hee, see where I am?”
