pitch round two is happening soon!! ✨ I missed my babies so much ;w; I'm really holding onto hope wah please send me luck

A drawing of Bluebell and her familiars (Tabby, Crow, and Toad) gathered excitedly around a cauldron as Bluebell pours a bottle of liquid into a brewing potion.

found some more fun drawings of the potion shop family that I love, drawn by @sealchomps.bsky.social !! my babies...

A collection of doodles of Bluebell and her family. On the top left, Bluebell, Gabitha, Tabby, Crow, and Toad cuddle for a movie under blankets. On top right, Toad eats sand and shells out of a bucket as Crow looks at him, grossed out. On bottom left, Bluebell is preparing some ingredients in a pot as Gabitha finishes cutting carrots for her. On bottom right, a happy Bluebell squeezes Tabby with cuteness aggression til his eyes get huge and bulgy.

Sharing some more boards from the 'Potions by Bluebell' pitch animatic, this time boarded by Kaden Westbrook (@kadejwestbrook on insta!) who did an amazing job with the comedy and really helped get this big chunk done! This was also my first time directing :O #storyboards #indieanimation #showpitch

AH ANOTHER THING I'm so forgetful lmao. I also wrote/composed Bluebell's theme in the animatic!! I wanna share because I think its cute and really adds to her character hehe

Lastly here's some super rough boards I included in the pitch. I wanna clean these up eventually dfkjskf. Hopefully tho its a fun little way to show how the magic works in the show and the dynamic with her and her familiars! We have a whole 11 min animatic but that would be crazy to share haha

I have a lot more in the pitch itself, but I should be more brief here. Anyway, this is my child and I love her!! she's out to follow her art and spread her passion (and find a way to let herself be a kid despite the necessity to grow up fast.) and maybe get kids watching to try cooking or crafts??

Bluebell, excitedly holding up a potion bottle. This is her favorite thing in the world!!

More bits of her world, as we move from the center of Lilywart Village towards the center of Wisteria Woods! Thanks to Laura Walsh and @lizc.bsky.social for their lovely bg work!

A shot of the river running through Lilywart Village, with a house sporting a waterwheel.

The outskirts of the village leading into the woods, with bioluminescent mushrooms beginning to overtake the buildings.

The center of Wisteria Woods - the most magical point. A circle of mushrooms towers over the purple glowing environment with some ruined pillars surrounding them.

Here's lovely art, designed by Cristina Zuniga @cristinazunigaart.bsky.social and colored by Laura Walsh (@aspentri on IG), of Bluebell's home - the potion shop. She does all of her potioncraft here.

Finally, Antimony is Bluebell's mother and teacher, who built Allswell Apothecary on the outskirts of town. She's on a big adventure right now, but that's not the point - we stay on BB in the village. Bluebell misses her. Antimony is mysterious, and nobody seems to remember where she came from.

Amira, the easygoing and confident Blacksmith's apprentice, as well as Leaf, the nature-loving wild boy, are Bluebell's friends who also join her on adventures. Mayor Lilywart is a retired dragon-slaying adventurer who helps BB set up her potion stand (like a kid selling lemonade!)

Leaf, looking wild as ever, wearing a leaf poncho with sticks and a rat in his hair.

The jolly and spirited Mayor Lilywart, looking like a medieval santa claus with a pegleg.

Gabitha is the helper around the shop, who acts like a big sister to Bluebell when she needs a more mature ear to listen to her. She's composed and friendly, and capable of endless feats of endurance, but has a tendency to obsessively help everyone around her at the cost of her own health.

A splash pose of Gabitha, who tends the crops in the shop's fields, handles laundry, does the taxes, customer service at the front...all with a smile.

Bluebell's three familiars, who she grew up with like siblings, help her with potioncraft and big scary decision making! Tabby is wise, loyal and brave, but always sleepy. Toad is fun, empathetic, and loves play - especially roleplay! Crow is smart and bookish, but skittish and full of nerves.

Toad in one of his many roleplay outfits - today, he's a viking! Tomorrow, who knows!

But Bluebell is determined. If she and her three familiars can help the people of Lilywart with their problems, then she can be grown up enough to be a potion master when her mom's back. Totally not a coping mechanism! She's fine without her mom, obviously. After all, potions are what she's good at.

Bluebell tries to sell a potion to a traveler in front of the inn as her familiars use all their strength to prop up a wagon she stands on.

Lilywart, after all, is nestled in the middle of Wisteria Woods, where all the most magical flora and fauna can be found. Which means griffons, dragons, and unicorns raiding the village for crops and trash. Oh, and fey trickery, hag curses, and a persistent lake nymph giving away too many swords.

A wide concept of Lilywart Village sitting amongst the pink and purple trees of Wisteria Woods.

A collection of different creatures of Wisteria Woods, including trickster fey, a wish granting lamp (ft. a jellyfish), a trash-eating unicorn, and the spooky dryads.

Suli🌺 - Storyboard Artist Available for Work! @suli.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

She has good intentions at heart, though - she wants to spread her love of the magical and fantastical world to the people of the village she and her mother set up shop at. The only problem - the people of Lilywart Village are SICK of magic and fantasy! They can't seem to catch a break!

The citizens of Lilywart really struggle with magical creatures. Thorkel, the village's most unlucky man, is accosted by a griffin as a small dragon sleeps in the middle of the street.

Suli🌺 - Storyboard Artist Available for Work! @suli.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Bluebell is a highly curious, energetic, and passionate girl who can also be impatient, clumsy, and bratty. Her greatest strength is creativity, but she has bouts of chronic overconfidence. She tends to drag her friends and familiars into crazy ingredient seeking adventures!

the CG model of Bluebell, excitedly grabbing ahold of her hat.

A two-point turnaround for Bluebell in her standard outfit.

Three expressions for Bluebell - annoyed, mischievous, and mesmerized.

A CG test by @seanmcpartland of Bluebell standing in front of a mockup of her potion shop. Ideally she and the world would feel very tactile, as well as large and grand because SHE sees the world as grand.

Potions by Bluebell is a 6-11 fantasy comedy show about an apprentice potion seller, Bluebell, who for the first time is left home alone without her mother (she went on a big world saving quest.) BB, who insists she's basically a grown up, is determined to keep the shop running. She's 8 years old.

Anyway, here's stuff from my pitch, 'Potions by Bluebell'! Since the Nick dev team did really like it and say it has a lot special to it that resonates...I want to try to do something with it despite it being passed on. Maybe I can pitch elsewhere? If I had funds I'd want to kickstart a pilot.

early morning yesterday, just past midnight on new years eve, my sweet baby girl Margaret passed away in my arms. She was 17 and really sick, but I thought I’d at least see the new year with her. I feel so devastated starting the first day of this year without her. I don’t know how to keep moving

ok for real now. Happy #TransDayofVisibility!! I am a trans woman storyboard artist (previously at Nickelodeon on Max & The Midknights), oc artist, and a jazz musician/composer. I'm pursuing my dream of introducing trans & queer characters to TV, including Monster High and soon Skobeloff Forest :)
